End of the world in 2012?

does anyone think its going to happen? or is it just another myth?

 

It isn't going to happen the 12th of December 2012.
That's just where some indians calendars ends.
Guess they have to start a new one.
Or, they could just say that the world is goin' daaaaaaaawn.

No, it won't happen.
HOW do you think it would happen?
Do you have any thought, or did you just see the video on YouTube and posted here about what we think?

 

The Mayan AND the Aztec calanders both end on this date.

Both very relegious tribes

 

It could just mean a Big change, But then again if we don't die on that date we will definitely all be killed by the Al Queda terrorist attack on 2013, But then again nobody knows when the world will end... Read the bible.

 

well i wanted to get other peoples opinions instead of just my friends opinion, because he is a BIGGGGG conspiracy kinda guy, he thinks that we are fighting a war right now and we dont even no it, and its against another being, and he thinks that when this doomsday happens, the beings will reveal them selves to bring hell on earth lol. i dont really have any views on this right now, because it doesnt really matter to me haha. if it ends it ends, it jut be cool to see.

i have a feeling that something big might happen, but it probably wont be big destruction. but it could be lol

 

The Mayans predicted the end of the world on December 23rd, 2012. They have calculated the motion of the moon to this very day, and they are only off by .03 of a second. They were innovators far beyond their time, and their contributions to the world can deem them to be one of the most influential civilizations in history.

Don't be quick to dismiss it, none of us will know until then.

 

but just because they were right about a few things doesnt mean they really knew the end of the world.
they could have another logical explination for having the calender end, like what if they worked out that it had to end then and be replaced once that time comes, because maybe the calender needs to be remade after so many years.

 

I highly doubt it. I mean like crakers said, you don't know until then, but its unlikely.

so many theroies, Id believe if the story's matched,
but many are totally diffrent
"Isreal will be tooken over!"
"A planet will collide into earth!"

I think people are just trying to look for the next big event or time/date to get some attention, I stopped paying attention to these kinds of things years ago =P

It never happened on previous dates, it won't happen on this one. I'm a christian, so I believe the bible, which says no human will know when the end comes, it'll be sudden. Then again, it could be a REALLLLLY BIG coincidence and happen then. :nuts:

you're talking about the planet X right? Niburu or what not. How in 2012 when niburu does its rotation it will collide with the earth, causing rough earthquakes and winds and pretty much destroy us?

That's what i heard, and what NASA apparently said.

Supposedly, by June 2009 we will see a second moon. being bright red. and thats nibiru coming to us.

So, if i do see a second moon, my jaw will drop 3000ft. kthxbye

No one can say when will be end of the world. It might happen yesterday or 100 years later. But it will happen.
