Likelihood of being banned for botting after quashed bans?

I'm considering botting on an old account which was banned in someone else's hands (and then unbanned).

I'm just wondering if the account would still be flagged if the ban was quashed and shown to have no association to me.

I understand there's always a risk involved, but I'm mainly wondering if I can make some gold for a little while before the account gets banned again. rather than loading up the account with a bond and being banned immediately.

Anyone had any experience with quashed bans?
