Want to Buy Gold -- Suggestions, Please???

Hey, Everyone

Please excuse my ignorance -- I'm a brandy-new Nublet here ... :eyeroll:

I've decided that I want to buy 500m RS3 gold, and have even chosen the Sythe Member with whom I wish to deal.

But: I'm scared.

Is it better to:
> Make a single trade for this amount, or break it up into smaller transactions?
>If multiple transactions, how much time between them?
> Use my main account, or a lower level alt?
> Choose one particular world over others?
> Meet the Seller at a certain RS location?

And I'll probably think of more questions; I welcome all common-sense suggestions.

Getting banned for buying gold is very rare imo, i've done 100's of trades on my main and never got banned. There is a gold buying/selling section on sythe, just go to a trusted seller (loads of them on there) and make a purchase... Be sure to check there UID with the one listed on there sythe profile. I'd just do it in one transaction once everything is straight to the account you're going to use it on.

 

Hey there! In my experience, it's more important to vet your seller than to worry about buying in a single transaction/multiple increments, etc.

Consider these questions:

• Is your seller a high volume buyer/seller? If so, they run a higher risk of being flagged which could lead to you receiving a ban. I'm not suggesting that a high volume seller is bad, but just food for thought.
• What sort of precautions do they take to protect their clients' accounts? Don't be afraid to ask this. If their answer is bullshit, find another seller. There are plenty out there.
• Ask them where they conduct their trades? Candidly, I don't play RS3. However, if their spot of choice is the RS3 equivalent of Lumbridge, find another seller. Where you conduct the trade is important. In OSRS, I find sellers who trade outside of the basic high-ban rate locations IE Lumbridge bank, Lumbridge tele spot, Lumbridge Anvil/Church, etc.
• Ask them what level account they conduct their trades on. If it's a starter account, I'd move on.

thats pretty low amount in rs3 so just go ahead and buy it all in 1 trade. I would use lower lvl alt when trading the seller.

 

To be honest I've bought & sold thousands and have never been flagged for little amount like that, but if you do do it, do it on a separate account you don't mind losing

 

ive purchased and sold multiple billions several times no problems
