Is RS getting too easy?

Holy shit that jsut sounds scary... half glad i wasnt around that far back in the day

 

Although I like the current system of clicking just a couple of times to cook an entire inventory, there's just something about the old system of cooking that I like more... I don't know why...

 

Thats exactly it, it was so difficult but it gave a real sense of achievement when you got a major goal e.g. a 99 or 10M cash.

Now it just seems as if Jagex are trying to attract new players, which im not against, but while doing that they are alienating many of the people who have played since pre 2005.

God I miss those days.

 

Many of the new, young players will now, sadly, have the attitude of 'getting things. And getting them now.' another words the younger generation of gamers have little patience. Jagex, in that respect, doesn't have a whole lot of choice but to adapt to that generation's needs to stay in business.

I'm saddened that this is the case, and I too miss the days where gaining levels was actually achievement that required time and patience.

 

You cannot "buy your xp up," you can simply buy spins and HOPE to get xp lamps. There is a big difference

 

I disagree. It pretty much is buying your xp up. Do you really think people buy spins to get a lucky item? No. They buy them to get the lamps for xp...hence buying the xp.

 

Well, Jagex needs money after the bot nuke.

Back on topic, Runescape getting easier is good news to new players but also, a bad news for older players. Getting 99 cooking in 2006 was a big deal but now, even noobs can get it easily.

 

i like most of them except i find wheel pointless tbh
