JMOD: Open OSRS Bannable

So apparently in discord and on Twitter mod Tyran states that Open OSRS is against the TOS and will result in a perm ban just for being used.

Not sure how jagex can detect the client unless a macro plug-in is used.

There have been no official statements on RuneScape.com

this is old as fuck and he was shut down by someone on twitter about it. as open is a legal client the only illegal things are the externals.

 

According to the head of jagex banning department its bannable to even use the client. They just have to prove you're using it. For some reason it still violates the tos in their eyes.

 

yeha im sure all jmods would would risk their accs on runelite

 

Stick to runelite. I'm sure jagex has already said runelite follows rules for runescape.
