    My Weight Goal

    Hello Sythe!

I've recently come to a realization and it made me realize that I was much happier as a kid when I was active. Also a lot more confident. When I started high school was when I quit sports and athletics all together and that's when I somewhat 'ballooned'. Because of this I lost a lot of my self respect and confidence around people and I just slipped into some anti social behaviour. So I want to revitalize and restore myself back to what I used to be.

Not totally ripped, but no belly. I want to redefine my pecks and arms again. Tone up my legs so I can fit into my old style of jeans. I'm going to college in September, and that is my deadline.

    Current stats:
    Age - 19
    Height - 6ft
    Weight - 200lbs
    No real muscle definition.
    High metabolism.
    Big Frame

How I plan to Achieve my weight loss:
    1. No food after 9pm.
    2. Sleep on a normal schedule. Wake up at 8, go to bed at 11.
    3. Cigarettes¤
    4. Natural Supplements
    5. Walk in the morning when I wake up.
    6. Walk at night after dinner.
    7. 100 Situps w. 25 lb weights(4r25), 20 chinups, bicep curls. Morning.
    8. Eat breakfast, and keep hydrated.
    9. No high sugar food, or fatty foods.

¤I don't have an addictive personality so I can kick cigarettes away anytime. They make me lose my appetite, which is a good thing. I overeat and stress eat a lot, so the fact that cigarettes takes away my stress and my appetite is a huge plus. Although my physical performance will decrease, after I reach my goal I will drop them and work on conditioning.

What I'm really looking for from you guys is some support and possible help. I'm a pretty lazy and apathetic person in recent years and I really gotta turn it around. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

inb4gym. I simply can't afford to get to the gym on a daily basis. Too busy of a schedule and quite costly to both get there and to pay for a membership. I live near a walking park so thats really the only excersise place around.

Thanks :) and wish me luck.

    Start: April 3rd, 2011
    Deadline: September 5th, 2011

    My Weight Goal

I don't necessarily want to lose weight. I want to turn my weight into muscle and definition.

    Thanks :)

It would be cool if you took pictures daily to see your progression.

The first guy said try not to eat carbohydrates, he is incorrect. Carbohydrates are a energy source which turns into fat reserve when it's not used.

You also can't turn fat into muscle. Your fat cells decrease when your muscle cells increase.

I would really like to see how this turns out. Lots of support

Then find a way to get to a gym and workout and stop making excuses >_< How do you expect to gain any muscle at all if your only doing high rep exercises (and barely any exercises at all)? Your missing exercises that hit main areas like the chest and triceps.

Btw, fat helps build muscle. So don't drop all of your fat intake.

Quit smoking now as it will help you in the long run, even though you say you can quit anytime later on you won't be able to. Also don't exercise everyday as it is better to exercise just 3-4 times a week then 6-7. You might actually want to consume more calories then just 2000 a day if your exercise is hard for you. Best of luck, I've taken this journey it's a hard and long one.

EDIT: The best tip I can give you is to have an exercise buddy it makes it a LOT easier to lose weight / gain muscle.

Walking won't do you much good, but it's a fair decent start, I recommend running a half mile for the first week, then a mile for the next, mile and a half, 2 miles, 3 miles etc. Also - have you heard of bear crawl? It works your arms well, look it up on youtube. Remember, don't cheat yourself, don't over do it, but don't set your goals too low.

If you know anyone that has ever used the p90x program I think they will tell you the same thing. Invest the $140 it cost on amazon and get it!!!

I can't even tell you how much this program has helped me, and it litterally has everything it makes it so easy. It has warming up, stretching, work outs, cool downs, eating guide, multiple ways to do exercises.

I won't lie it is an intense program where 6 of the 7 days a week you have to spend atleast an hour a day working out. And it isn't something you can just start up you need to be in shape. There are 3 different work outs phases, and each phase can be done as the lean (lose some weight), classical (putting on weight), or doubles (your insane to do it first time through) You have enough time to make it through the program atleast once, and half of a second run through.

there is an easier version known as the Power 90 also by Tony Horton.

I can't tell you enough about it, deffiently pm me with any questions.

    My Weight Goal

To lose weight, you really need to do a couple serious things:

First off, you need the motivation to pursue your goal, this is the hardest step, and without this, you are better off sitting in front of your computer getting post counts on a blackmarket website.

Secondly, you need a partner to workout with. Why? Because a partner will keep you motivated when you lose your own motivation. Once again, easier said than done, but ask a friend who is serious in helping you.

Next, do not jog, run, walk or anything of that nature, with the mindset of you thinking it will help you lose weight and build body tone. Jogging, only helps your legs, and has very little to no impact on the rest of your body. Use weights, olipticals and other machinery to help yourself lose weight.

Lastly, this is very optional, but it will definitely help you. If you are in a healthy status right now, (I saw that you had a high metabolism, so you might want to ignore this). Creatine is a substance you can drink, in the form of a power or pill, that will substantially help you lose weight and build muscle tone.

I HIGHLY suggest you study the effects of Creatine before buying it. It requires severe workout so you can actually get the fully effect. Should you not workout and drink plenty of water, you will get kidney disease.

As always, eat healthy - avoid soda, sugars and fats. The first step is, take a break from Sythe - it's a site filled with the kind of people you don't want to become and the website itself will have no long term positive impact on your life.

    Best of luck!

    My Weight Goal

If you want to loose weight.

Eat 5 to 6 meals a day - veruy important! Increases motabalism, dont eat any carbs after about 5pm - eat oily, fatty fish for dinner with sweet potatoes and vegtables.

Always eat breakfast, porrige oats are the best, if you craving badly then put a small amount of honey/ sugar on.

Use whey protein once or twice a day after workouts.

Best workouts for weight loss are:

High Intensity Internval Training before breakfast everymorning.
Full body workouts with about 12 rep sets 3-4 times a week - do lots of body weight excersises.

Most importantly, just stay motivated! Keep you mind set on the goals you want to acheive and make sure you meet them! Every time you crave something sugary or fatty or unhealthy just think of the goals you have already reached and and remember you do not have far to go and that they will only set you back.

If you wanna chat just give me a pm, i know my shit ;)
