Is mw2 still worth buying?

I've been playing modern warfare 2 for a long time, and after blackops came out, I sold it and got blackops. Now I don't really like blackops and got rid of it, and now I'm thinking if I should get mw2 again or not. I really liked it, that's not the problem, but the problem is, it's an old version now.. Most of the people are probably playing blackops now, so will it be awfully empty?

Or is it still easy to find lobbies and stuff? I'm on PC btw

 

The people that still play MW2 or have gone back to it are either really good, or terrible and probally got it for Xmas.

 

Anyone that is playing it currently know how fast the lobby finding and amount of players is? Right when BO was out I did notice that it took a lot longer to find servers.. Could have been just my connection though

I'm up for the competition, as long as I don't have to wait 30 minutes to find a shitty half empty server on derail..

 

MW2 is worth buying i wish i could return black ops!

 

people said MW2 sucked balls now its like everyone is crying and wants it back lol. Some things i will never understand.

 

People were bored and tired, wanted diversity. New maps, new possibilities. I was never the one to QQ about MW2, the only reason I got BO was because everyone was talking about it, etc, I wanted to know what it was all about.

Blackops has a better killstreak system and deticated servers. Everything else was better in MW2. The only thing I can think of is the fact that it has boosters (tactical insertion etc), but I never disliked boosters, easy doublekills for me, always fun.

 

People are still playing CoD1's MP, there are definitely still players on MW2.

I'd get it over BOps any day now.

 

codmw2 is definitely worth getting...because everyone feels the exact same as you...no one likes black ops and are going back to codmw2. and many people had stayed on it in the first place. it is worth it.

 

I personally like black ops better then MW2. I'd say your best bet would to watch a few black ops / MW2 montages to get a good feel of each game play then decide.

 

Go back to MW2. Much better in my opinion, and there will be plenty of active players, don't worry about that.

To be honnest its all up to you, in Black Ops it's alot harder to kill some one than in MW2 because of perks like Stoping power and One man army. All though there is flaws to both games it really just depends do you like easy to join quick games?(MW2) Or a little bit more challenging games.

Also this is similar to comparing CoD4 to CoD:WaW same two companies.

 

On ps3 it's full of challenge lobby nerds that have everything unlocked and its boring. Black ops is better IMO because not everyone is such high ranked and there aren't many cheaters AFAIK

 

I like Blackops personally because of the lower levels of cheating you will find. It is a more enjoyable game.

 

It is still worth botting, most of the noobs have moved on, but every so often you'll come across a game full of kids using Noobtubes, danger close and OMA.

Yeah, it is still pretty popular on xbox 360 live.

You can probably also get it significantly cheaper than it used to be.

So yeah, I would get it.

i like but alot of ppl cheat on it now bc infinity doesnt care anymore
