OSRS Prices on Player Auctions?

I Have been hesitant on purchasing any gold for 2007, knowing that the prices should decrease over long periods of time, but in the past moth I have noticed that the prices of osrs gold on playerauctions have actually increased. I remember the prices of gold dipping to as low as $2.40/M, but now the standard price of gold on PA seems to be above $3.00/M. Any explanation for the sudden jump in prices of gold, primarily on PA?

Is it just a means of greater demand for gold, or did something else happen within the game itself that changed?

 

Bans my friend, bans caused it to increase.

 

Supply < Demand that meaning once demand is high but the amount coming into the market is low than the price goes up. At the moment go on any osrs botting community and try to not find a thread talking about "owah men gud I was bun bi flamgex." Bans are high now and honestly a pain in the ass. I stopped using any form of tutorial island script because in 2 minute ban. Once someone finds a for sure way to avoid bans I see 3/m being pretty persistent. That or if game goes balls down hill that fk the price of geepee.
