Whats your political view on the war in Iraq? is it actually needed or is there a more sinister backing to the war?

I think that it would be stupid to pull out now after people lost their lives.
I think it needs to be finished properly.
No opinion on whether there is a more sinister backing to the war.

I think the US should have gotten it right the first time, when they actually had a reason to invade.

 

There is no reason for starting a war in Iraq. Everything that was going on was happening in Afghanistan and all of a sudden Bush decides to invade Iraq? Where were the weapons of mass destruction that were in Afghanistan? There wasn't any. That is why Obama sent more troops to Afghanistan because that is where we should have focused on since the beginning. I do believe that there was a sinister backing when Bush decided to send troops to Iraq.

 

Bush did not start the war in Iraq, your Congress and House did. He just agreed and deployed them. Obama sent more troops to Afghanistan, replaced the leading General and then disagreed with him. Now we're needing more troops and he's almost pocket vetoing it. He is just giving the Taliban more time and confidence. I am afraid for America's future.

There is a lot of reasons why America is in Iraq now and there are a lot of reasons why we should pull out. It doesn't matter what subject your on when talking politics, someone is always going to pull a conspiracy out of nowehere and argue with that, and sometimes theyre telling the truth, or a warped truth. I'm neutral because I feel I do not know enough about the war to make a statement such as yes or no but if I had to make a decision for some reason I would stay in Iraq until the job is done.<--Big Wall of Text

 

Although there was no actual "bombs of mass destruction" there was a significant amount of heavy water found in taliban camps all over afghanistan which means that they were coming to take on the decision on making a nuclear bomb or sub-station eatherway they wasnt going to power the houses for all the good boys and girls eh?

 

Well i think invading was definately a neccesary precaution. You say they should never have invaded but image if the taliban were left to develop, imagine if they did get their hands on nuclear weapons. As for them staying there, i think theres alot of reasons to stay. They're saving lifes out there and keeping order which is always a good thing although soldiers dieing :/

Probably right but I think because people are dying then it is important they stay and make sure the job gets done else those lives will be lost for nothing at all. At least let them die fighting for a cause that was won

 

What's the point of war? I mean, really, why can't we all just have a nice talk over tea? Is this all about power? like, shit, it's stupid. MORE AND MORE people are dying. It's hard to see someone dying with a bullet you shot, for the sake of your country. Families are seperated for each other for the longrest time, For that long time, i don't even think they remember what they're all fighting for.

"Mass Distruction Weapon" that it was said that iraq had it ()by bush() ... Was not there ... Can I LOL ?? 1.5 million people died for what? Can the FBI, CIA, Etc.... Can be wrong?? << HELL NO!

They made the war cuz:
1-Iraq was dangerous on Israel, the usa baby.. (who says no has a bulshit in his head not a brain, US pais Israel over 10+ billions a years... Though it is a very rich country!)
2-Petroleum & Gas, Iraq is ranked #4 in the list of the countries with most gas in thier lands
3-Power show, Experimenting new missels (new weapons were used) Also getting uranium! < people who has cancer in one Iraqi city was increased by 1900% since US invaded Iraq.

The war in Iraq is pointless, Afghanistan was the one that was causing all the problems, i believe Bush was trying to get back at Saddam for his supposive attempt on his Daddys life in 1991 in Kuwait. I think we should pull troops out and focus more on Afghanistan

 

i personally think we should nuke them and turn there country into glass. One wise man said "Lets Turn There Ass To Glass" No one ever said that it just went well.

Some people don't want peace and love. Some people want to kill those whom do not share their ideals, whether it be political or religious. Those people needs to be stopped, no matter the cost. So yes, I support the war on terrorism.

I think that, even though America and the United Kingdom have haelped Iraq, i think it should have been left, War doesn't have to be guns and battles, just fight with speech, Because if we keep going at the rate of war we are going, Their will be a Nuclear War soon. :-(
