Is Jagex really considering taking back free trade?

They will only do what makes them receive more money and popularity. Thats how I think of it.

Definitely not, At the very very worst they'll probably reintroduce the limit but with a higher threshold.

Reinstating free trade was the best thing Jagex ever did for profits, and their a company in it for profits not the players.

 

I doubt it, theres heaps of botters world wide, and they all pay for membership, giving free trade pretty much increased their monthly revenue by 30%

If they did it would be suicide, they would lose a lot of players and with it a lot of income.

 

The last time it happened, they lost ALOT of players myself included. I think Jagex are just being money greedy now. However I think they should at least find some way to make the botting less excessive. :S

 

Youtube. -.- I've seen it posted into comments that are actually just scams... It's bs. The bots are the same and we manipulated them the day that it came out, took advantage of it... More bots= more money because of more members... Something in the lines of that equasion.

 

If I'm not mistaken, I heard that when Jagex posted the poll of who wanted the wild back it was them saying fuck Runescape.

Meaning Jagex is coming out with a new game (similair to Call fo Duty) but for the PC. I think the release date is sometime in 2012.

Though, my thought on this is Jagex basically said Fuck Runescape and re-instated the wild. Although, Jagex is against Bots and RWT, I really don't think they care as much as everyone makes it sound. Especially with their new game coming out in 2012. All they see Runescape as now is a cash flow. Who cares if Bots and RWT'ers come to rule Runescape? We have our new game and as long as we are making money from advertisements and memberships still then Jagex is happy. They saw what happened when they got rid of the wild. It was too pretty for the profit charts. A bunch of downwards arrows I suspect. Then they tried fixing it with bounty hunter and entire world that you could kill players on. Though, they were still making less than they were when the wild was their. Basically because bounty hunter and entire worlds that you could kill players on were a EPIC FAIL. Jagex, realizing this, decided to return the wild even before they put the poll up, already knowing everyone wanted the wild back. Now that the wild is back Jagex is making more than ever before. So, they basically did a huge trial and error. Whoever had the idea of taking the wild away was the biggest fucking dipshit in the world and Jagex probably took him out back and shot him after they realized that taking the wild away was a huge loss. Now that Jagex realizes that taking the wild away was a huge mistake, I doubt Jagex will EVER take the wild away.
