    Is it worth it?

Playing runescape on F2P, is it any fun, anything you know, good about it? I'm still thinking of whether i should come back or not since i haven't even tried the EoC but i need membership to have fun, and i can't afford it right now due to reasons untold.

    Anyoneee?

If you plan on training skills by having fun, you should go p2p.

P2p is best for having a lot of fun but it is still possible to have fun f2p. what I would suggest to you is is to train a few accounts or do some services here on sythe and pay for a membership through here :). Is quite easy :).

In my opinion, F2p can be fun too. But If you want the most of a skiller and more quests, than p2p is your choice. Dam dude just bot a week and get about 15-20mil and buy a membership, but be aware. ;)

The only thing I ever found fun in F2P is gambling (usually hosting), and pking, staking is weird in F2P..

All comments aside, I would advise you to try F2P out because it's ultimately going to come down to whether YOU enjoy it or not. As far as F2P goes, it's scratching the surface in terms of skilling, questing, PKing, etc. I have a friend who is a player mod with 4+ maxed skills, and has been playing for 6 years in F2P which is why I say it comes down to what you like. Personally, I would become a member and dive in, there are so many guides to get you on your feet for every skill.

I completely disagree, runescape has the worst "quests" of any game i have ever played and the p2p ones are just as bad if not worse than most f2p ones.

F2p was great for pking, that was pre eoc i havent messed around on it since the big update

Runescape has REAL quests instead of the "Go to this dunge, kill this many monsters, get rewards"...

Become P2P. It's worth it for the small price tag, and you get a lot more game, and a lot more fun. I couldn't play f2p purely because I couldn't train slayer!

Only reason I actually became a member is for the extra content....also for the awesome quests

You can't do anything in f2p. It makes the game boring and you will give up on it. you should get members :p

Instead of asking it on a forum, why don't you try it? >_<

    Really, membership isn't expensive.
If you can afford it, definitely become a member, because you would be missing out on so many things.
F2P gets you bored really fast.

Probably because he would of wasted his time if it turned out he doesn't like it? :l

    Is it worth it?

I just made a f2p skiller because im just ready for a little change in runescape and want to see what its like being a f2p skiller, making money, and just playing the game (w/o combat) and i personally enjoy it, combat wise i'v NEVER liked f2p at all, but when it comes to skilling, f2p isn't much different.
