Investing in Bitcoin?

I have a few grand at my disposal and was wondering if bitcoin would be a good short term invest?

 

I would suggest investing in altcoins instead but bitcoin is a good choice aswell

 

Hard to say. From my experience cryptos are almost never a good short term investment (unless you really know what you're doing). Long-term investments (6 months+) can however be profitable.

 

Short term you either double your money or lose, way too risky. On the long run in a couple of years it's proven to be a far better investment compared to the stock exchange.

Well it depends on what you mean by "short term"

 

Research the things you think about investing in. After the research you can decide whether to invest or not based on that research.

 

Have a look at Cryptocurrency Market Capitalizations | CoinMarketCap.

I'd seriously have a look at Etherum... Backed by the UN, JP Morgan, Microsoft - If there is one that is likely to succeed this is it. Also, study how to read the market charts... You can more or less predict how they will react.

 

ether is a more stable investment then btc right now also check out xpr it's going big

 

If your eyes are set on BTC I would wait until the next dip.

 

Sometimes I wonder. Do people actually give good advice on what to invest in. Why would you let on your money maker. I think you should research on it yourself and make your decisions, rather than relying on what others say.

 

Btc isn't a stable investment, only invest if you are willing and okay with the possibility of losing a lot of money.
