is it possible to take an online school from another country

Thing is I live in Nz and there are no online high schools. I'd really like to join one as my schools has horrible facility's and we waste so much time because of the people who mess around. I could do what we do in a week, in a day if people accusly payed attention. help please.

 

I would guess not as another country will have a different curriculum.

 

What if fore say I take an online Australian high school? Would I be able to use my diploma in NZ to get into a university?

 

it should be possible a friend of mine took an english online school while being norwegian so it should be ok for you too

I don't think so. In Australia, each state still has a different exam and system, I assume it'd be the same between New Zealand and Australia. Sorry!

 

I did some research and one of the options was international. I'll try call them in the weekend.

I assume if you take all the required courses it wouldn't matter, all you would need is to take some sort of test to make sure you know it.
If not I'd imagine people moving in from other countries would be in hell.
Also you should try to contact them on the phone to see if they would support it, or if they would be able to work with your different timezone.

I was wondering about the timezone but Australia is what? 1-3 hours behind nz so I could possibly start school later. And like what was stated, you must beable to use a deploma from another country otherwise people wouldn't move countrys cause they would be screwed.

Edit: forgot there is a international option so timezone shouldn't matter.

 

Even if Timezones didn't matter, if you use a course on the East side of Australia (Queensland, NSW, Victoria) where most of the bigger universitys are, you'll only be two hours in front of us. (Daylight Savings starts at the same time in NSW too.)
