Anyone ever been banned for buying gold ?

Just curious if anyone has been banned in the past year or so from buying gold from gold sellers from Sythe.

if you buy it from very trusted sellers its very very rare that you'll get banned

Yeah I know, but I'm just asking if any Sythe'rs have been banned recently, I was thinking about buying a few mil, but worried about the IP trail.

 

I was banned back in late 06, early 07 for RWT but nothing recently

 

3-4 years ago RWT was very popular so the ban could happen easily.

However today, it's basically impossible to get banned for it. Jagex can't really prove you were RWTing.

 

I don't think people get banned, since x-fer through g/e was released.

 

Havent heard any cases lately at all.

 

I haven't heard of any cases. Its possible its too hard to track nowdays

 

Fagex banned me for "Real world trading" in like 08, I didn't actually buy any gold though.

 

They don't ban for RWT as often nowadays. It is still possible with some xfer methods to be caught doing it though so continue to be careful.

 

i never have but it depends on you really if the person u buy of is exferin & u keep trying to log in account u could end up with ban hammer yes.
