I beg to differ. Reputation is a powerful thing in the right company, and if you can prove you know your stuff, you gain respect as well. Further, my professors have actually fast-tracked applications for tutoring positions and general work based on grades and study ethic, as well as providing a lot of other valuable counsel.

And in terms of students, I find that the people that don't care are the people that are barely passing in my cohort. All of my friends that earn relatively high GPAs love helping each other out and in their respective fields they're often a very valuable source of knowledge.

Eventually whether you feel guilty or not it will bite you in the ass in the future. Maybe you might get a job you qualified for based on reputation from college and then the company finds out you don't have a clue of what your doing.

    It all depends on yourself.

First, there will be consequences, whether it'd be a consequence just days after you cheated resulting in an expulsion, or a consequence years later when you're just getting a job but failed the on-the-spot-test because you lack the skills and knowledge.

I'll let you figure the rest, we can't always inspire and influence people the way we want, but when you choose the right path for yourself, it will be all for your own good, not mine, not your parents, but yourself.

Unfortunately, you are acting with incontinence, and letting your desire for the test to be easy cloud your rationality. If you were to think about it objectively, you would realize are definitely harming the students around you by cheating. As you yourself imply, you are obtaining higher marks through cheating than you would through not cheating, and therefore will obtain better jobs than those around you. That is why cheating is considered highly unfair.

As many have said your only cheating yourself and to be honest the people that are legit will get the promotion because they know the work ethic it takes to achieve what they want in life. They will stick it through; however, the cheaters will begin to resort to the only ways they know. Cheating. Which, in return will leads no where.

Might just be my perspective studying engineering, but anything is useful if you know how to use it, ESPECIALLY things calculus related.

Regardless of what you go on to do, math will be one of, if not the, MOST useful things you study in high school. I don't get why people think they will never use it again.

You have no idea how stupid this sounds to me.

Even if you want to be something like a mechanical engineer it's expected that engineers know at least the basics about each different field. If nothing else it allows you to work with different types of engineers both within and without your team.

Biology is particularly important in chemical, materials, biomedical and environmental engineering, but it can have applications even sofar as civil and electrical engineering as well. Don't downplay it just because you expect to do something else.

As a sidenote to reinforce this: my professor graduated as an environmental engineer. Some of her first work was in electrical engineering.

I agree with you, as long as you can perform your job after you get the degree cheat your heart away. No one cares if you passed those classes anyway all they're looking at is that one piece of paper. If you measure up in your work ethic and do your job correctly; then cheat on every exam bro. Just because they call you cheat doesn't mean that you are you a bad person, just means we have better cheating skills than them. They're jealous of our way bro. ^_^

nothing is truly achieved without hardwork and dedication - there may be things that seem absolutely pointless to your current situation or to where your future lies but there will be some point in your life where you will look back and wish you actually understood what was being taught. i myself have never truly cheated but there have been a lot of times i have put no effort in which i regret now, it is just a waste of the early years doing nothing with the opportunites you have been given.

don't cheat lad, that shit is pointless.
