Inactive Account Banned Out Of The Blue?

So i bought this osrs account maybe a year ago. I transfered gold from my rs3 account to this account, about 80m osrs. On this account I stake it up to around 1b. Lose it all, and I leave the account with 30m. I return around 12 months later, stake and get up to 70m my first day. 3 days later I'm banned for RWT. The seller had a site and a ton of vouches but I can't seem to find who it was. Was I banned because of the wealth changes or because they figured out I bought the account? Was the seller involved in some way? Its just odd to me after such a long time they would randomly ban me like that, when I never rwt'ed gold, I just bought the account. Thought that was a petty offense.

 

Hmm they wouldn't ban for RWT without some form of evidence. Maybe he still had access to the account.. but if your password was the same as it was 12 months ago (and that password the seller never knew) then I doubt it was him. Maybe they got you for your transfer 12 months prior. I think the best anyone here could do its just guess.

Runescape usually warns against these kind of inactive bans like they did a year ago. Look for a update on "banning inactive accounts".

 

there's a thing about banning inactive accounts? i've had accounts i hadn't logged in on in 4000+ days...
