Is FrostWire Safe?

I really needed to know if FrostWire is safe or not, i know LimeWire. I had Viruses on that. but People said that FrostWire is safe.. Is that true?​

Ive Read the forums on frostwire.. and other websites..it said the people have gotten Virues on LimeWire but not on FrostWire..

Im not sure if its the same thing or not..

Please explain better.

 

I got a trogan from Limewire, but have used Frostwire for sometime and have yet to get a thing.

 

There is always a chance of downloading a virus, but just make sure you download smart, like download files with realistic file sizes

I used Frostwire a lot, had no problems really.

 

Neither Frostwire or Limewire will give you virii if you download them from a trusted site. It's the material that you're downloading via a P2P network that is infecting you.

 

I have used basically all the programs out there (Limewire, Frostwire, Luckywire, etc) and have never gotten a virus period...the programs themselves will never give you a virus, just downloading blindly will. Just be careful which you are downloading..usually the top results are the best, meaning the ones with a lot of hosts to download from. Hope this helps
