Level 138 locked, What do i do?!

I recently purchased a level 138 account. It is really good, it has overloads and turmoil. Although a few days alter it was locked. Last night i sent an appeal with all the info the seller he gave me, and i have just discovered it was rejected. What should i do? i have quite a bit of eperience with locked accounts- last year i helped my friend unlock his. I do think the best way is to send an e mail, but sending it with my e mail adress might not be a good idea. Please help me!

EDIT: Well in the end it was a scam. I got the scammer banned and all that, sent a email to Jagex rquesting a ban of the account. I'll leave this thread for any discussion and advice ot prevent this from happening again.

 

did the person you purchased it from gave you all the recoveries like old pass and is his the original owner

have you tried sending jagex a message about the situation on help?

have you tried contacting the previous owner and told them about it ?

 

well think why it got locked, if u was playing on it for a few day's then it got locked mean's someone tried to recover it..... ???

 

The previous owner gave me the recoveries and the creation date, but that is all he remembers. I put all of it onto my appeal and it got rejected......

 

He's recovered it as stolen and it's locked your account for 'safety' purposes. :L

So he only gave you the recoveries and creation date? legit account sellers provide passwords, creation date, previous payment methods, the internet provider and yeah all that information..
dude he should of gave you everything . most likely he was bullshitting, typical I "forgot' excuse represents a scammer.

Most defitnetly he is trying to recover the account back, Tough luck bro hard chances your going to get it back.
Since you also 'bought' the account its less likely you'll get it back, the best thing to do is keep trying :0

When its locked they noticed you playing on his account, so they lock it because they think you stole the account.
To get it back he need to send an appeal because yours will be denied.

 

Talk to the original owner about it. He most likely tried to scam you :| I'm sorry man :s

 

I'd say you are fucked. If you didn't buy it from a trusted seller, it's more than likely that he stole it/in the process of stealing it.

 

I did buy it from a quite trusted member and he had some vouches

 

Im assuming you payed a couple of 100's of dollars correct?
Can You tell us who you purchased it from and how much you purchased it for?

And most likely, someone selling an 138 would be an scammer ~_~~

 

Ah i just remembered.....he gave me first password. Gonna give this appeal another shot.........

 

He did not tell me the Contact details or the Membership details. At least i got recoveries and earlier passwords and creation date...meh

 

No i got the 138 and played on it for a while...... The guy who sold it to me was Badasshybrid. The price i paid was $180. I don't think it was a scam considering that he seemed to be a nice guy and he has a bit of vouches.

 

E-mail Jagex and tell them that you bought the account and that's why there was an IP change.

Try to get the original owner to recover it saying he's trying to quit runescape and he's giving to his brother who lives with his dad while he lives with his mum. That's what I did and it seemed to work, my 126 wasn't locked afterwards for a few months and when I sold it on I haven't heard anything negative back from my mate who I sold it to.

Honesty is obviously the best policy

 

There is no such thing as legit account sellers. If they don't recover it now, they will recover it 3 years later.

 

its scammed because the owner gave u false info and recovered himself - clash of ip's locked the account.

he'll unlock it in a few days, and you're scammed.
