Is dungeoneering fun?

I used to like WoW a lot, and still do kind of. I just decided to play runescape again for a while. Anyway, dungeoneering kind of looked like WoW raiding on a much smaller scale for minimal rewards of course. But it still looked fun, and the fact that you could solo made it much more appealing to me.


Anyway, what do you guys think? Solo dungeoneering yay or nay

solo dungeoneering is boring as shit

teaming on 148 is slightly better
having a private team is pretty fun[skype/ts] -- you can have 25 min floors if you wanna speed or just relax and go at a slower pace and no one cares... and no idiot rage quitters.

dg is one of the few skills in RS where brains are required, which is why bots will never be faster than a pro team at it.

 

Dungeoneering is incredibly boring and slow.

 

heard it was wicked boring. i only got it to level 7 then quit, i want to get it to 80 for chaotic weapons but it seems way too long and boring.

 

It is quite fun, when you do it with a team.

If you are under level 50, it will take a while to get quick experience.

In my opinion, it is good to do like for an hour a day.

 

I played WoW for 5 years and have done end-game raids and everything, and dungeoneering doesn't even come close to the level of fun of raids. I honestly think it's the most boring skill in the game aside from farming.

solo is boring its like being abandoned xD no interaction with the outside world.

the problem with dungeoneering is the fact there is a steep learning curve and unless you are a good keyer most of the time the teams tend to wander around because there isn't a competent leader on the team --- but once you get through that shit phase and get into the 80s/90s it gets a lot easier because the people you dg with are your same level and know pretty much what you know.

 

Imo, it's really fun, especially if you train with friends.

 

Go solo one floor and you'll think otherwise.

 

It isn't as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, all about your taste. Soloing also isn't bad, what makes it seem bad imo is the xp rates as you're almost forced to team to get decent rates. Also, with teaming, you pretty much have to play with random people as it's unlikely most friends are on the same "floor" as you...and ofc with random people, you don't know how they react to anything.

With that in mind, the way it's trained is a big annoyance to a lot of people.

 

It is boring until you start getting up into high-ish levels (30-40) and then going with a team. After you get passed the learning curve, it really isn't that bad.

 

That sounds exactly like WoW dungeoning to me.

 

Yeah, there's a steep learning curve and you'll have to deal with a LOT of idiots, so for it to be enjoyable I highly recommend finding a competent team that you can dg with whenever, rather than just using randomers.

 

I solo'd about 6 floors and nearly fell asleep. I'm not sure how it is with friends though.

 

I found it equally boring with friends.
