mw2 activation code

Hey guys, I have a problem. When I first got this computer a little over a year ago, I got mw2 for it (Black Ops wasn't out yet). A few months later I un-installed it, because I didn't really like how it felt, but now I want to try to get into PC gaming, so I wanted to re-install it. BUT, it says my activation code has already been used, so I can't install it wtf? :/ Does anyone know a way around this? Or anywhere I can get a new activation code?

 

I presume your doing this on Steam yes? You don't really need to reactivate it as it's already activated on your Steam account. Once you've activated it once it can never be activated again. Log onto the account you activated MW2 on and it should be there.

 

Yeah I'm doing this on Steam. Thanks for the info! I feel stupid now lol I can't believe I didn't think of that.. Along with un-installing MW2 like a year ago I also got rid of Steam, then today I got Steam again as well and made a new account. I'll just try to remember my old account details. Thanks!
