Interview today + potential training for sales

Hello everyone! Hopefully I can leave my dying shitty job behind me and start to move onto bigger and betters things, I'm applying for a Specialist sales group that deals with Computer building/fixing and designing. They are a big re-seller of apple parts/laptops etc.

Hopefully I nail the job Maybe this might fix my shitty fucking life, I think this is a good start?

Has anyone else done training like this? Anyone done computer building before?

I have a question. For this type of computer building job, is it a requirement to know hardware theory in depth? I remember back in semester 1 I had a Hardware 101 class and it was probably one of the classes where there was so much to memorize.

 

Not necessarily - it focuses on a development course with each module focusing on a hardware building assessment.

 

You'll learn very quickly, few months ago before I started building my mining rigs I had no clue what I was doing either. Luckily I had my father help me with the first build.

 

What did you look at in your hardware class? I also go to school in Canada. I spent a whole semester looking at a theoretical CPU architecture called LEGv8 which is supposed to be a subset of the ARMv8-A architecture lol. Wish we studied MIPS. It was more interesting the next semester when we just studied more general operating system stuff.
