[somewhat religious] Hints from the dead

Had a hard time for thinking of a title for this, but i feel like it works!
Also debated whether to put this on the General Discussion or the Something For All, but im stupid, so i put it here

To start this out, i don't care if your religious or what, i just want a bit of your opinions from different perspectives.

OOOKAY, so my cousin committed suicide last week Monday, and everything has changed since that day. I'm sure everyone has heard of the random things that happen after someone dies that you KNOW they did, right? Well i have quite a few to share, and hope some other people can share their experiences/thoughts! :)

I'm gonna try and keep this simple and easy to follow.. but goodluck reading this shit.

    A small backstory
My cousin committed suicide Monday night, he just took a deer rifle to the head cause his girlfriend was a psychotic bitch and led him to it. But hes been a depressed man his whole life. But my aunt (his mom), Valarie, has always been there to back him out of it. But this time, his whole family was in Vegas when he did it, so they could do nothing to stop him.
The next day, my cousins' (his brother), Trent, job sent a private jet all the way to Vegas, to bring them back to small state North Dakota so they could plan the funeral and mourn with the rest of our family. Valarie went to his house on Tuesday, and the cops told her that there was 2 pennies laying beside his body when they got there. After that, she was looking around the house, and noticed a book full of (religious i believe?) poems. She opened a random page in the book, and a certain poem caught her eye. It was about pennies. When you see set of penny, pick them up and keep 'em. Because an angel from heaven misses them, and sent down a penny to comfort them. (can't say the poem went exactly like that, but summed up to it)
The next day, Valarie noticed there was candles on his front patio, and on the rug inside his house, was 2 pennies. (Note, the door was locked.)

The next 3 or 4 days, no there were no signs of Travis. (my cousin who committed) Most likely because no one was looking for signs because everyone was planning the funeral and had their minds set on other things.

But then, on Sunday after the Wake, things started back up again. (itll probably get more confusing here, sorry for my shit grammar and stuff yea)

Anyways, after the wake, my cousin and his wife were driving home, and his wife said "Mike! This song on the radio was Travis' favorite song!" and Mike didn't hear what she said, so he turned down the radio, but it turned itself back up. That exact thing also happened to my sister, my uncle, and my other cousin. Same song, and the volume got turned back up louder after someone mentioned it. (and no, it wasn't a part in the song where it just gets louder, they looked at the radio and they saw the digital slider go from around 20 to 28).

Another penny story. After the funeral on Monday, we all went out to Travis' house to be with everyone. Valarie's friend, Gozel went to Walmart to get cream because my uncle was making some drink with cream. When she got back, she was carrying the cream in a walmart bag, took the cream out of the bag, and was folding the bag up, when a penny dropped out. She started screaming for Valarie and started crying. My other aunt, Bonnie, said "Gozel, theres another penny under your foot!" and she lifted her foot up and there was another penny. 2 pennies, just like the poem said. just like beside his body, just like in the window. The weird thing is, I was there, and i only heard 1 penny fall onto the floor.

And another. Today i was at school, and i put my hand in my pocket and i felt something, so i pulled it out, and it was a penny. They were clean pants for one.. 2. I never carry money to school with me. and 3. If i do, i always give the loose change as a tip. I NEVER have change.
It also happened to my dad today, he was going to go to town, and he lifted his boot up to put it on, there was a penny underneath his boot. Note, my family is VERY stupidly clean, and if they would have saw that or heard when it dropped, they would have picked it up.

Another thing. 3 days before my cousin committed suicide, he was at my uncle Rob's house drinking beer in the garage.. He's the only one in my family that drinks Grainbelt beer, so he brought his own. He finished the whole case except for 2, so my uncle put them in the fridge (also, in the garage).
A day before the funeral, Rob was cleaning up the mess, crushing the cans and putting them in a bag. He was gonna take the 2 Grainbelt beers and put them inside, so he put them on top of the fridge and forgot them there.
The next day, they all went to the funeral. *duh*, but when they got home, and opened their garage door, there it was. A Grainbelt beer, sitting right in the middle of their garage. Sitting straight up. My uncle thought that the wind could have pushed it off the fridge when they were backing their vehicle out, but im pretty sure it wouldn't roll to the middle of the garage, and sit straight up. (yes, they locked their doors and the garage door was closed when they left, so NO ONE was in their house at all when they left)

This was probably REALLY long and if anyone read this far and actually understood my story, congratulations, because i suck at explaining these things.

But extremely long story short, i don't believe ALL of these occurrences that happened are just by luck within a week. My grandma says that when someone passes, they do this as their last goodbyes, and when they say their goodbye to everyone, they go to heaven, which is why the occurrences stop.

Again, extremely sorry for the long stories... hopefully you understood my stories. I could continue with SOOO many more from when my friend died this summer, all the little trinkets he left behind, but that would be twice as long.

EDIT. 2 new stories to tell. My friend, who was also really good friends with Travis, always just throws her loose change on the floor beside her bed. The night before, she had a ton of loose change, in the morning when she woke up, they were all pennies. A little hard to believe since she is sort of a story stretcher, but still.Another one of our mutual friends found a penny lying on his floor in his pickup. This all may sound like coincidences, but seriously, i live in North Dakota. Barely anyone lives here. Its EXTREMELY rare to see pocket change on the group. So all of it happening in this short period of time isn't a natural thing..

EDIT1. Last night my sister had a dream. She had a dream she was in church with my cousin Travis (yes, the one who died), and he was talking to her about committing suicide, and there was nothing she could do to change it.
Was obviously a little sign from him to my sister, and my whole family for that matter, to lighten up. That hes in a better place, and hes watching over us. :)

I read the entire post starting with "Had" all the way to " :p ".

First off, my condolences go out to you and your family for your loss. I'm sorry that this has happened to you.

Secondly, after reading what you have posted, I believe your cousin Travis is communicating with you. I'm not sure if there is a 'place' or 'plane' we go to after we leave our bodies.. if we leave them at all. I do, however, believe in the spirit and recognize it as it's own entity. I suggest setting up an appointment with a psychic - even bring your aunt, Valarie, with you. I'm sure it will do you some good and, hopefully, bring some light to your family's situation.

Very cool stuff indeed, though. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very very very much! :) i thought i would have gotten a lot of hate for stating my beliefs and whatnot, but i thank you very much for reading it all , your input is very much appreciated, ill mention it to my my mom and see what she says, but yeah a psychic would be really neat to go to and see what they would say. God bless you.

Psychics are charlatans and prey upon people who are or have become weak willed, be it by nature or by events. By visiting one you are doing more harm to your own recovery than you are doing good, because it develops false hope. Essentially you're looking to explain away death, and people have done it for centuries. You're trying to retain some sort of physical connection to someone that is no longer there. I don't mean to offend you but if any paranormal or psychic activity were real it would've been documented by now with serious proof.

There is documentation on the supernatural. Just like the Theory of Relativity, as much as we accept it as fact - it has not been proven because we do not have the ability to prove it due to the limitations of modern-day science.

The belief in the supernatural is a choice, as is the option to visit a psychic.

Relativity has been proven, both general and special. I am not sure what your knowledge of physics is but if you research a little bit you will realize that it is no longer a thought experiment in a patent office, it had been tested in orbit and through observation.

Aah. You are incorrect. I'll simply ask this: If relativity has been proven without a doubt, then why is it still a theory, and not a law?

You're bringing this thread off-topic in your quest to disprove me and, in addition to that, have completely ignored the OP. You've spent your time on this thread attacking my opinion and the purpose of psychics.

I'm attacking your opinion because it would be detrimental to the OP to build false hope through visiting some sort of flash and mirror show. There are legitimate councilors who have actual training based on facts that can help someone through these situations that a lot of time can be visited for free instead of tossing money at a lost cause.

To answer your question we can prove that physically and mathematically that relativity exists. The reason it is still called a theory is nomenclature. Laws hold no more weight than theories in science. The theory began as postulation and thought experiments. It has now been rigorously tested and proven to be extremely accurate. So accurate in fact that it is considered the corner stone of modern physics.

I haven't replied to either of your posts cause i have no clue what you're talking about.. But i'm just gonna guess that its something to do with how earth was made? X_X idk. everything in this life has far to perfect to be created by a collision.. how did the 2 things colliding make this whole earth? the whole Milky Way? the whole eternity of outerspace? Something had to make outerspace, it can just be.. something thats been foreverly made, and a heartbeat just randomly happened and a human came out of it. Damn my head hurts from thinking about everything. Night :p

I believe every single word of this. Your cousin is definitely trying to communicate and it seems that one by one he's sending the penny message to everyone he loved.

When you are in Love with someone that isn't available/someone passes away that is close to you...I don't have citations for this but, it is a proven fact that your subconscious will reach out to little things that you don't normally do, to make yourself believe that it is meant to be/they are still alive.

I'm not doubting that these events happened, but things that you would normally not even recognize or care much for, because of your loss/empathy/sympathy, it sounds like your subconscious is playing tricks on you.
