Do you need one to mass bot? My understanding is that it's a virtual server you can bot on without having your computer on. Couldn't I just leave my computer On and not with that instead of spending a large amount of money on vps's to bot on? Someone told me if I wanted to run like 10-15 bots it could cost like 160 dollars a month apparently which could really cut into my profits. Experienced people post please, and thanks.

    Duh?
People just use VPS so they don't need to leave thier own computers on/don't have a very powerful computer so they would rather rent a more powerful VPS.

Yes you can just run as many as your computer can handle and leave it on all the time.

    I meant like,
Of course you can just leave your computer on and have it run as many bots as you want!

The only + about having a VPS is that you don't have to leave your own computer on and under stress for long periods of time. You also don't need to pay for electricity.

Overall if you are going to farm BIG TIME, building and running your own computer is the best way to go. VPSs are way too pricy.

Darkorb don't listen to him because he obviously doesn't understand...

a vps that can handle 2-3 bots costs $26.95/month
On here I run 2 bots that bring me 400k-700k/hour (I'll calculate with lowest profit)
I bot each account for 18-24 hours a day (once again will use lowest)
    400K x 18 = 7.2M/day (on one bot)
so 14.4M daily with both of them running.
I transfer the gold off every five days so each 5 day cycle I can sell 72M ($43.20 a week)
    Each month these bots will bring 432M (14.4 x 30 = 432M)
So my monthly income is $259.20 (432M at $.60/m)
    Subtract monthly fee 259.20 - 26.95 = $232.25/month PROFIT

This is in a perfect world... Your account may recieve a temporary ban, which is why you have back up accounts...

After this month I will be adding 4 more servers to my farm. Shortly after expanding to renting entire servers which will allow me to run more bots for less cost.
