Is anyone else's life at home like this?

lol very interesting you say that, i literally don't tell them anything anymore. whenever i stay logged into twitter or something they go on it and find out everything i've been saying. it got to the point where my dad and mom were both looking at it when it wasn't logged in so i ended up making it private, then i left my reddit logged in and i'd told /r/fitness that i hurt my back squatting but since i had a brain surgery and wasn't supposed to lift heavy i told my parents i was doing back extensions >_<

 

This sounds so lame for you... they have no right, unless they pay for the router, laptop etc. In which case you have no choice but to obey their demands.

Never had this problem, I had as much privacy as I liked at home. I've moved out now though. Although if I have people over, I avoid Sythe like I do RS, just attracts bad banter ^_^

 

The feels man. Happens to a lot of people actually. Don't feel bad, but it is your parents house and it is their rules. :/

Oh come on, you're almost 18. I'm 19 and I'm not in 'Murica but I get the most freedom, whenever I want and however I want. And why don't you just lock your room?

 

I've never played RS before, but once you get old enough to take care of yourself, who cares what you do with your free time. I'm in a college IT program right now, and I can tell you that TONS of students (young and old) play games like RS and Minecraft all the time.

 

Lol your old enough to not have your parents get up in your grill about what you do on the computer tell em to give you some privacy get a lock on your door or something jesus lol i bet they were some pushy parents lol

Tl;dr partying and blazing makes you cool in high school and then you grt over it after it.

 

Wait, you had brain surgery? That changes the picture a little bit. They are probably wanting to protect you as much as they can. I am guessing to have brain surgery there must have been a serious problem and they probably contemplated life without you. They just want to make sure you are ok and not doing anything stupid, like lifting heavy weights after surgery.....

 

Seriously though how could you not fail a subject when playing RS until 4am and going to school at 6am. I'm in a similiar situation as you but i'm failing about 3 out of 7 and there are 2 final years until college, but it's very hard to study when your thinking about online games like i can't cope with it.

 

Yea, keep it on the DL 'til you get some breathing room.
