Purchasing a phat

Would buying a purple be a good investment? Wondering if I should buy and hold it for a year then resell for irl

 

Probably not because gp price will fall almost certainly while the price of the partyhat may fluctuate up or down.
I wouldn't personally do it

more gp always is coming into the game, and with the addition to bank bidders, more p hats should be coming into the game again. However, if there is a large ban wave of end game players that own a lot of wealth, well then you're in luck. They've been stable for awhile, and i presume they'll still keep a stability until something knocks them down (say, another p hat event possibly)

 

the cost GP is falling down way too much at this point, and I don't think that the rising cost of phats will beat the amount that the GP falls, I wouldn't take that chance personally but its up to you

 

Can't really put an item like that on a timeline. Just sell when it goes up, may take weeks or months or yeah, a year. Just depends. Wouldn't recommend though tbh. If anything, buy/sell rsgp, not phats or items in general.

Is it worth buying as an investment for potential future returns: No, especially with this new "buy a bots bank" bullshit.

exactly this, just cause items fluctuate way more than gold and its just too risky because of this reason

Anyway, it depends really. You can buy it and see how it fluctuates in a month. Don't predict by a year or large amount of time. Take it a little bit at a time.
