Going for 99 Mage - Need Advice :)

Alright guys, i'm looking to go for 99 mage on my main.

I dont want to spend a crapload of money on it, and i want to be getting kinda nice exp.
What methods should i use leveling my mage?

The rate's are pretty expensive these days so if you don't wanna be spending a lot of money than you gotta be prepared for slow xp.

I would just alch or soulwars or something along those lines.

 

How much do you have to work with.

Combine and alching as previous stated for steady xp.

on my main i did Alching/Dagganoth kings/Metal dragons

 

if you have money to spend i suggest buying a soulwars bot and leaving it on over night and during work/school and when your on either soul wars or alch up to you.

this is a good way as it costs nothing in rs gp and can get you high str/att/def in the process.

thats what i done tbh up to you though. (ps i done it for 94 mage)

Or you could teletab for money then curse untill 99

 

Cursing doesn't work for crap anymore, they fixed the dummies.

After 90+ Mage, just SW. Makes things much more timely.

Before then, just alch. It's gonna cost you, but there's no way around it. Buy Maple Long (u)s, alch till 90. If you wanna bot that, go right ahead. Then just SW to 99. Pretty sure you can't Alch while in SW, but i could be wrong.

Reason: You aren't allowed Non-combat items during SW games.

get an autoclicker (google rs autoclicker), get lots of one item from the ge (i used steel plates) and alch away. i got from lvl 55 to lvl 85 mage in 3 days of afk alching at ge.

 

Well I'm currently alching air battlestaves on my pure. You can only buy 100 every 4 hours, but it's easily avoidable if you have friends willing to help you out. The loss per alch is about 5gp.
