ban guide sales

information should be free, plus many guides are lame/scammy.

Gotta agree... The majority of guides that people sell now are retarded and/or not worth selling.

The verification of guides has completely lost it's meaning too as it now just means that if someone sends you the guide you say "Verified" and that now makes you more trusted than you previously were because you didn't leech it.

It's an easy way for people to scam/rip people off as well as accumulate vouches that shouldn't be worth anything. Might as well just remove it and if not then at least have some control over it unlike now.

 

Agreed. I tried to guy a guide and the douche wrote it in some foreign language (Attempted enligh I'm guessing) And most guides are scams or dumb now. Screw em!

 

Funny how "selling guide" is against selling guides.

I disagree, Some guides are worthy of sale, But should be verified AND TESTED>

 

Maybe there should be a person or two who verify and test guides? Once they are verified a thread may be posted to sell the guide?

Alot of the guides these days are just stolen from someone elses work too.

Getting some people to verify the guides would clear alot up within the buyers, and disolve scamming.

But banning guide sales? That's not necessary, is it?

4/5 of the guides I verify are plagiarized/crap/misleading/etc.

 

I reccomened special mods, or highly trusted members be the only ones to verify...... and that if you offer to verify and you are not one of the "Guide Verifyers" you get an infraction for spamming.

 

I disagree, because there are MANY legit guides that do deserve payment.

I agree somewhat. Most guides I verfiy are complete shit like "mine 5k iron ores + 10k coal, make to steel and ur loaded" or "scam geepees"
