Do you do drugs? If so, which and why?

I smoke weed just about whenever I can. Haven’t done more than that and don’t plan on it. I do it because it mellows me out and helps me go to sleep on time.

 

weed most days, mostly because it's habitual but also to cure boredom/tedium.

I've tried mdma once or twice and really enjoyed it, would definitely do it again but I'd always be careful to leave significant gaps of time in between uses.

curious about (some) other drugs, mainly psychedelics, but I'm not in a hurry. the time will come I suppose.

 

I wanted to try ecstasy, but the effects last too long for my taste.

For the weed lovers. I NEED to know something.

I of course know one of the side effects to smoking marijuana is paranoia, HOWEVER, I used to smoke it all the time. Mellowed me out, had no problems with it whatsoever. Then, all of a sudden I smoked it and I found it impossible to swallow. It felt my throat was closing up to the point I couldn't even swallow my own saliva. Now, I know a lot of you would say "It got you super paranoid". BUT, bare in mind I smoked it all the time everyday and had no issues. Not even with paranoia. Could it be, I was just smoking shit that was a lot stronger than I was used to? Either way, I haven't smoked it ever since. Sucks ass.

 

Haha, I smoked all the time before I became a pilot. The last time I smoked I greened out in a Taco Bell parking lot. I was with a friend, he had a dab pen, and a vape with an oil canister. I didn’t feel like the dab pen was hitting, so I took hits of the vape too. Overall I took about 14 dab hits. I was put on my ass a few minutes later. I’ll never forget that feeling.. my whole body was burning. Throat was like closed up. I could feel my organs and shit. Super sketch situation. Legit thought I was dying while I was crawling on the Taco Bell parking lot... not to mention I drove in my car, and he didn’t have his license.. so he had to drive my car home, (he was high af too). Just a super sketch situation. Never again haha.

 

Lol thank fuck I'm not alone. When I told my friends; those assholes just laughed at my weak ass. I was so sure I was dying too.. like... "Guys I'm allergic to this strain" lmao. Weird as fuck because years of smoking feeling fine to then one day smoking and feeling like I swallowed Ed Edd 'n' Eddies Jawbreaker whole. Shits fucked.

 

Haha, yeah. I never really enjoyed it anyways. It was more of a social aspect to me. Same with drinking. I’d prefer a coke over a beer. Although both of those can affect my personal career too. I just tend not to do them much anymore.

 

It's like I'm speaking to myself at this point. I'm exactly the same way.
Honestly, I don't even like the taste of beer. So, when we're out for a meal - why the fuck would I get one beer when I prefer the taste of coke better? Unless I'm heading out in the town and want to get drunk then what's the point.

I'm a man with the taste buds of a kid, I think. Lmao.

 

Yeah, I’m the exact same way. I’d prefer to drop a few shots down the hatch anyways. Beer tastes like shit IMO.

 

I've used many many drugs, I feel that it is instant gratification but also kind of an escape for structure from me. It can be difficult to enjoy simple moments in life after prolonged use which is something I'm dealing with, although I still enjoy recreational use when it's not drawing my time away from priorities.
