Iphone 3g

Sense the new iphone 3g comes out on July 11th i made this thread. What color looks better and why and is the iphone worth it.

- Black 16gb ($300 usd) and 8gb ($200 usd).

- White 16gb only ($300 usd)

Make sure you're able to jailbreak 3rd gen phones, or they will be no fun.

I have at&t so i dont need to jail break it for my network just jailbreak it for more fun.

The Iphone is not worth it. $70 dollars each month? That's crazy.

I think the original was better tbh.

Why pay extra for two features - 3g network and GPS.

I know that I will never require the 3g network, as there is always a wifi connection around I can hook into... if you need faster then 56mbps on your phone, you should be using a computer anyway. There are plenty of decent alternatives for GPS, why pay so much extra just for this feature?

If my assumption is correct, apple will do what they did with the new ipods and encrypt access to the OS so it cannot be jailbroken like the current iphones, which means your iphone will be very limited with the restrictions apple will put in place on the app store.

I quite like my current iphone in its jailbroken glory, i love all the 3rd party apps I can use to customize and enhance my iphone's functions.

I can use IRC, MMS, MSN, ICQ, GBA Games, Video Record, DropCopy (Copy files from one iphone to another wirelessly), and much much more... can your precious 3g iphone do any of that? No!

3rd party apps sure is somethign cool. and yea, dun waste your money and time buying that ihone..so what fi it has 3g? i myself have 3g for my nokia musicxpress but dun use it as u can use the computer for internet. besides, 3g is a waste of money.
