Wasted ad revenue/impressions

You don't put ads when:

-You're making a new thread
-You're posting a new reply
-You're looking at new posts

That's a lot of wasted impressions you aren't grasping.

I propose:

You include ads into these pages.

This will make your impressions/earnings MUCH higher, therefore you can afford to get rid of the Bing advertisements.

 

Yes to putting ads in those places (I never even noticed they wern't there)

However I don't like how you target the bing ads, you need to get over it..it rarely ever happens anymore. Just take the 5 seconds to scroll up.

 

yeah it rarley does happen to me, they don't need to put more ads cause the only ads I see that impressions would matter would be their adbrite ads...their gold4rs and rsorder ads are paid straight from the websites, so they are probably paying a monthly fee.

 

Adding more ads for unregistered users, with a note near them that says register to have the annoying ads taken away might make more people register.

 

Yes I guess. Or you could pull is like WarezBB (sorry warez user, but I don't link stuff here) where you make users register to view topics...but allow users to view how many posts and topics there are so it makes the forum look big...but you could still do the extra ads for unregistered users.

 

I hate sites like that. I like to see if I like the community before I make an account, so generally I ignore those sites.

Although, I do agree it's a good idea to add advertisements to those places, I know I wouldn't mind.

I rather see less adds when I'm posting here. I don't want it to turn into powerbot.org with their 20 different ads.

 

As long as their aren't a ton of adds like cosrob said then It's fine. I guess it might be spending a bit more money but it depends how they pay for their adds.

 

I think Sythe would make more money, I support this.
