Explanation of the trade: Sca#8107 and I had a conversation earlier today about swapping gold between rs3 and osrs, he didn't have osrs at the time and when I originally traded him 1270m spirit shards (Half of the total GP amount I had on RS3), he told me he couldn't find a seller for the price he wanted, so we PMed each other back via Sythe DMs and Discord DMs confirming that the trade was nulled, and the monetary value I had traded him was returned. Later this evening, he PMed me again, saying that he would find an OSRS seller, and buy my RS3 and just use the Crypto to in turn just trade me OSRS of the value of my RS3. The value set was 2540m Spirit shards in RS3 (63.5b) and in turn I was agreeing to sell him that gold for $2048 USD, and he would be buying gold from @Jimsky88 to trade me OSRS in return, so the MONEY never actually came into my possession, but the monetary value of the gold was traded to me in the end. I ended up agreeing to the said amounts, @Jimsky88 agreed that @Io was buying the OSRS amount of the gold specified from him. I traded @Io my RS3 gold and he began making excuses as to why he couldn't immediately trade the OSRS to me, saying he wanted to sell the RS3 before actually buying the OSRS and I accepted to his terms. Nearly 2 hours later, @Io says he cannot find a buyer for my gold and that he wants to refund the 2540m Spirit shards, and has not since responded to my DMs on Discord or Sythe.
How they scammed: After all is said above, I have a feeling @Io will respond to this thread and possibly show pictures of him "Trading the gold back to me," since he will have pictures from the earlier trade we did today. There is a visual chat log of him confirming to receive 1270m Spirit Shards from me, and then a visual chat log of him and I both confirming that the 1270m Spirit Shards were returned to me. AFTER the SECOND trade we did tonight, there is NO CONFIRMATION on either party's end where the RS3 currency was returned.

I don't think @Jimsky88 was involved in this, but he was a part of this trade that was supposed to happen. Jimsky and I were DMing on Discord during this event also, and Jimsky to my knowledge did not trade with @Io. Jimsky told me he was still awaiting payment when I asked him about the trade.
