    The Official Silver Thread

Hello there, I'm not sure if this thread has been made before but I see no sign of it on the front page.

This is the assets and investments forum subsection, why aren't we discussing silver? I've dabbled in the silver markets for 5 years now, and I've seen silver as low as $8.00 an ounce. Too bad I didn't buy it up then. Silver is currently trending $33.00 an ounce, off from a peak of nearly $50.00 an ounce several months ago.

I sold most of my holdings, looking at about 40 ounces in my safe right now. Anyone else in on the game?

stay away from those online sites that sell 100$ bags ect. they charge over melt value for coins/bullion silver content. go to coin shows i get about 3-4 shows a year in my area and almost every dealer is friendly and will walk you through. at those shows you can sometimes even get silver undermelt and pick up a few coins you might have some sudden affection for

I was lucky enough to purchase the main bulk of my bullion back when silver was at $5 an ounce. I bought gold too for $250/ounce. Everyone thought I was crazy. Who's laughing now?

    I'm still stacking, too.

Nowadays I don't have much silver unless I can find my ASE
