"OK, the problem is that the only thing i can do is go on msn, no sites works nothing.
    the sites show up
The webpage at http://www.something.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently
    to a new web address.
Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): The server could not be found.
Also i used a enthernet cableand a wireless adapter still the same problem.
Also whilst im connected to the internet right now the whole network
doesnt work. (e.g the internet for my ipod doesnt work whiles its connected.
I have restarted the modem Alot of times

Call the ISP. The net might be down.

Also, try connecting directly to the modem instead of the firewall.

Can you ask him to go to start --> run --> CMD and type "ipconfig /all" and copy + paste what it says?

That will rule out many possible options and give us a better understanding of what is going on.

Check if your computer is set to use a proxy. Open up your internet explorer, click tools - > net options - > connections, then click lan settings.

Uncheck the box, you may be connected to a faulty proxy.

    Also clear your browser cache

    It's not a browser issue.

It also doesn't seem like a router issue either.

However do some basic things like unplug/reset your router.

    Also try going to Run>CMD>ipconfig/release
    Then type ipconfig/renew
    Then type ipconfig/flushdns

If that doesn't work, the problem could be attributed to some sort of malicious software.

Yes, definitely try that if you don't have anything important on it.

    Back them up?

If you have a second computer set up the library sharing and drag them over. If not you'll have to resort to an external drive or even burning them to disks if absolutely necessary.
