Interesting Information about Facebook

Do you use Google? Or MSN [rhetorical questions ftw]? Or have an e-mail? Then you're being "exploited" in the exact same ways. Read my post on page 1

 

why are they just talking about facebook? The same thing goes for MySpace, even more so.. You shouldn't be worrying about facebook, because there are other places where your information gets spread EVERYWHERE. How do you think you get telemarketers calling your home? When you buy something at the store your info gets thrown everywhere.. so saying that facebook isn't safe is ridiculous

 

Solution: Don't use facebook.

Who was this video created by anyway? This is probably some lies by others. For example "myspace", Myspace wants business, so they try and sabotage the opponents.

I don't have any proof of what I said, don't ask for any, I just stated my oppinion.

wherever you apply for a job now you can be assured that if it's a major company they will look into your life on the internet, which for some people could have a major impact on their job opportunities.

 

well my friend was applying for a job. they looked him up on facebook. guess what application DENIED.
so employers DO use facebook to see what you are when you are not at work. beware

 

Ever heard of privacy settings? And if he's doing stuff on Facebook, he shouldn't've been ashamed of saying it during the job interview...

 

It's his own fault he put shit on facebook, and how do you even know facebook was the reason for his denial

This was meant to be perceived as sarcastic by you, but literal by almost everyone else. You gotta agree though - so many replies are just random bullshit; you at least get it, and share an intelligent opinion with the rest. Everyone who's like "omfg d00d this is krezzy!" obviously hasn't read (or can't, one of the above).

 

yeah, now it makes sence why when i put my friends status to "Male" Interested In "Men" all the ads on the side were about gay relationships etc. this is pretty scary if you think about it.
