Medical Malpractice Costs Should be Eliminated

Do YOU think Medical Malpractice Costs Should be Eliminated?'

I am trying out for the debate team at my school and I was given this 'practice' topic that was quite confusing, but I really wanted to hear what people wanted to say...

If you can, please list the pros AND cons along with your opinion.
If you can put a source, please list that as well.

Thanks guys, and if you have any tips for me, it's much appreciated.

Try Google, I'm not really in the mood to answer your question, but I will give you a tip.

When debating, answer the question and the question only. Don't drift off and definitely don't use circular thinking and land back on a point you have already made.

Thanks for the tip! Please do answer when you get the chance.

Also, can anyone give me an answer to why having malpractice insurance is important today?

    Thanks again.

Its a form of self regulation of the medicine. You're going to be more careful if you fear losing millions of dollars if you screw up.

I live in the UK for the last...70 years... we had free health care and before that health care was free for the needy, free vaccine and such, but since the USA think military is important even tho Britain is the most invaded and attacked country only 2nd to France, They think protecting a country that nobody wants to attack apart from because of there military use. Maybe if they regulated tax better, did live in police states, where the rich get richer, letter huge cooperation rule the country, The people are stupid and dont care. If the people get fucked over by there goverment here there would be such thing as "London Riots" & "Manchester Riots" Even in these modern days.

First of all, if your debate team is giving you a prepared resolution to "try out" for their team, they're doing it wrong. Impromptu rounds are the way to go.

On topic - Make sure you roadmap your speech. Make sure the judges know where you are in your arguments. Also, make sure your speech flows
Constructive - Rebuttal - Reconstruct. Present your arguments, dispute the model of the other team, then say why your partners points have not been struck down by the other team.

    Good luck
