Here is our full conversation, can teamviewer a mod to check my skype.

he tricked me and wants to collect free 90$ from me, can a mod help me resolve this he didnt submit a report but can u check if his ip is clear? does he ban evade? did he do that in the past aswell?

What he did:
confirm its u by replying, but meanwhile he is doing a trade with his friend or something to set me up

What can be done:
can u check if the guy has ban evaded and give me tips how to avoid this next time, i was away from sythe for a few years, i think he wont submit a report because he is vading and just wants to make some quick buck though

first i never to trades at lumbridge, second, i dont use skrill, third, i never trade directly, especially in lumbridge, 3rd, thats not my skype, 4th, u posted that i scammed u 1minute or so after i replied to the post

only reason i screenshotted half of the page was next had some details, i can pm them to a mod or let a mod teamviewer me

You basically just changed the skype in ur thread, very smart. U have 2 skypes with almost the same username. Anyways I will wait until a moderator can look into this. He can teamview me if he wants, so I can show him exactly everything he needs to see.

 

i didnt change the skype, omg check the history of all my threads, never had live:crazypipe_me, why would i use a live: skype lol, u can see my skype on my website aswell, facebook page too

 

@intdubpk123 do you have any actual confirmation of the Skype you are talking to is @crazypipe because it appears you were scammed by an imposter. Do you have a PM from the user? It appears one was offered in the Skype chat. If no, why did you not accept the PM?

 

Can you check the history of him replying on his original thread to my comment? He replied "$90 ye" to me trying to verify it was really him talking with me on skype, and after he scammed me, he changed that reply (very simple). If you dont have acces to see that history of re-editing replies, please ask an administrator to check it for you.

 

i can confirm i did reply 90$ ye because a guy on my real skype told me he is posting as i screenshotted. Also i said 90$ on ur post that ur selling it for 97$

my skype, though, was never live:crazypipe, nor my profile picture was a butterfly, and my comment to my skype was never: Real crazypipe

 

I'm extremely disappointed that crazypipe was foolish enough to confirm he was talking to you when it was clear he wasn't. The pm you sent him contained a price offer that an imposter had made you (.97 vs the real one's .90) and you included a screenshot of your skype conversation with the imposter to double check that you were talking to crazypipe. If the real crazypipe had put in 5 seconds of thought and effort into confirming that he was actually talking to you, he wouldn't have confirmed it in sythe pm.

Due to precedent and the countless cases that have happened like this I can't hold crazypipe liable. However since he has spent many years on this site trading and yet apparently never learned to confirm that he is actually talking to people on skype, I've given him a TwC rank appealable in a month provided that there are no further unsafe trading practices. This entire matter could have been avoided if crazypipe looked at the picture that you pm'ed him and realized that it wasn't actually him talking to you. Hopefully he has learned a lesson from this, carelessness can lead to people getting scammed and it's all so stupid and easy to avoid. These imposters are dumb as bricks and they only scam people because the people they imposter are dumb enough to confirm they're talking to people they're not talking to. Very sorry this happened to you
