When you computer first turns on, before it gets to the vista log-in it gives you the option to 'boot with other OS.' Simply choose that option.

Vista has much higher system requirements with all the resources and such in the background.

Put your Windows XP CD or in the DVD slot, or the CD slot if you don't have one.

In your BIOS, get to it when the computer is booting up by pressing F2 or Delete. Make sure your CD or DVD drive is in the first slot under "Boot Order".

Save your settings, and when your computer is booting up it should say "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD, and enter the Windows XP setup. You WILL NOT be able to keep your files and settings and such.
