    Inhale co2 from soda bottle?

    so earlier when i open a shakes bottle of 7up i accident inhale some of the co2. im just wondering can you die if u inhale too much co2 from a soda bottle?

    Unlike Co1, carbon monoxide, Co2 is non toxic. It is regularly present in the air. Likewise, unlike nitrogen displacement, your body reacts to co2 noticeably when the oxygen is significantly displaced.

    tl;dr - Not toxic, if there were bad health effects, they would dissipate quickly as soon as oxygen returned to bloodflow.

    Unless you were in a bottle with limited air supply and hundreds of bottles of soda and you did the same for every single one of them, no.

    You'd first have to purify the CO2, as soda isn't pure gas. And even then, it would mix with the surrounding air. So no, not possible.
