    Infraction for GFX vouch

Right, I know the rule about how you can't give a vouch for GFX, but I don't understand why it's there, and why I got an infraction.

I paid money for a sig, give him it first, and then he gave me the sig. At the end of the day, that proves he's a trustworthy seller because he could have left with the money and avoided the work. This shows other Sythe users who want to buy GFX that his work is good and that he is trustworthy, rather than people who rip other peoples works or don't bother to give you the GFX after you've paid, which is just as much as scamming as anything, despite how little the cost is.
Fair enough that you are not allowed to sell GFX work for vouches, because that can give members a false reputation.

However, the vouch was for a trade which involved trust from both sides, and the vouch tells other users that he does not scam, and he has given me a vouch for a smooth trade and me being legit.
If I bought an account for $3 and vouched, I wouldn't get an infraction right?

Surely vouches were set to show other members who are legit traders, so everyone can avoid scammers?
I personally don't think its fair that people who sell their GFX work are not allowed to prove themselves as legit, as they can't get vouches for trading their work.

All this does is make GFX trades more susceptible for scamming.

Whether or not you agree with the rule is a different issue that should be argued in the suggestions forum.

The rule exists because, for anyone who knows shit about photoshop, it's a cheap way to gain trust. I could probably make 10 halfway decent sigs in under 3 hours. If I gave them away free, I could get even more vouches and make them even crappier.

See where I'm going with this?

Either way, the rule was in place when you broke it, so the infraction will stay. You do not get to selectively choose which rules to follow and which not to.
