Verifying 'Other' Guides

I think that there should be a section in which you can sell Verified Guides that are not Runescape-related. I think that would be really helpful for the Sythe community.

Support this. I always thought there should be a sub section in another section. There might not be many guides for things that are not runescape related, but if a sub section was added, I think more would come in. I would always feel comfortable when I was newer about a guide in that section when it wasn't RS related.

 

What type of guides are you talking about? Other games, or real life guides perhaps? If you're talking about those how to get rich fast schemes, I'm going to have to not support.

 

I'm talking about IRL guides, Hence the word; verified. Aka, An official will have to verify the guide before it can be put up for sale.

 

This would be a good place to put paypal guides, ect.

 

I know the definition, no need to pull of the Websters dictionary for imbeciles on me. I don't like the idea. You're not being specific with what you're asking for. What type of IRL guides would there be up for verification? All, or just few. For example, "How to make a water balloon" vs "How to change a car tire".

I don't see the point in this? Who would buy anything like this? That's why we have google, if you don't know how to do something just search it.

 

You're not really understanding this. This would be for moneymaking methods, clearly.

 

We used to have a section for IRL guides entitled "User Education", but it was mostly inactive except for the people who posted guides in order to get a UE rank - and even then, a lot of the guides were ripped.

If you want to know how to do something, type it into google. That's where most of the guides that were posted here got stolen from, anyway.

Why pay for what you can google for free?

 

Most of the unsaturated methods are sold for money.

Someone may want to sell a guide which makes money that they made on their own.

I'm not talking about making 10k+ a month from home or any of those scams. I'm talking about a reasonable amount.

 

Something like that would require a huge amount of time to verify, considering that most of those methods require a lot of work, time and patients something that not everyone has. Especially if they're selling a guide that can make ?$ monthly, now who wants to verify a guide for an entire month and see if it actually works?

 

A RuneScape guide is being verified if the guide contains some smart facts or tips you cannot find somewhere else. It's not that hard to google stuff, but if your info is unique, your guide can be verified.

This would be a good section for paypal verification guides, other payment type help, but for irl guides like especially for moneymaking...i think like rebecca said verifying would take a shit load time and i dont think any mods want to take up there irl time to do this. unfortunately because of this i would have to say no support.

 

I support a section for other MMOs. IRL doesn't make any sense to me
