Picked my Xbox One up.. Free game!

So I picked my Xbox one up last night, paid for the Console day 1 edition (With Fifa 14 free), CoD: Ghosts, Dead Rising 3, Angry Birds Star Wars (For the other half, I promise!) and that 12 Months Xbox Live Day one edition with Killer Instinct and all the downloadables free also grabbed an extra controller & Plug and play kit. Now, when I went to collect my order, they said "Yep, we've got yours ready here mate, Day 1 Box, Cod, Dead Rising, Xbox Live, Angry Birds, Controller, Plug & Play kit, and Forza 5 yeah?


TL: DR - Brought Xbox One, got all my stuff plus Forza 5 for free. #Winning :love:

 

Some places were offering either Forza 5 or Fifa 14 free with the console as a day one special. Mostly hit & miss. Anyways, you can never argue with free stuff.

 

Yeah, I got my Fifa 14 free with my Box, it's a code for a download- They literally fucked up and gave me a free hard copy of Forza 5 haha!

 

That's a boatload of money in one purchase haha. My total was only 560, I got the console + DR 3. Later bought Ryse. My bank account is currently crying a little bit.

Why have I been seeing a lot of posts about the Xbox on the front page... where are the PS4 threads?

 

Been saving for it, so wasn't a massive hit.

Ps4 Isn't out in the UK until Friday, prehaps thats why?

 

Dam nice, I got the PS4 and opening the box is like one of the best feelings lol. They package everything so nice it's just beautiful.

 

Whats it like, are you enjoying it?

I hate it. I'm crap at racing games and never liked them.. so for me, no - It's shit :nuts:


But reviews and what not for it are not too bad I don't think, and friends of mine who play it say it's very good.. Still, £60 for free isn't bad

 

Is the console good enough ? I was thinkin of ps4 but xbox one looks pretty good also

 

Its amazing mate. But I've always preferred Xbox, even though I've owned PS1, 2 & 3.

Lmao yeah I felt pretty much the same as you man. I'm loving it honestly it's great. I'm planning on buying the Xbox One next year or so as it seems like a cool machine. I have the games Fifa 14, BF4, COD Ghosts and killzone at the moment. Going to buy Assassins Creed in a few days too .
