Ok, mu-b with another guide for Sythe

In this guide I am going to show you what you need, and how to download it so that you can convert Youtube video's to your desktop using FireFox

First thing is first, If you have not opened FireFox do so now.

Once you have FireFox open type the FireFox address in the URL bar. Simply typing Firefox.org will do.

Once on FireFox click the "Add-On" button as shown here ;



Once there in the search bar type "DownloadHelper" and hit enter. You should get a link to the "Add-On" such as this below ;



Once you click the link it will take you to the "DownloadHelper" "Add-On" page. Once on the page you will see a green "Add to Firefox" icon, such as the one below ;



Once you click "Add to Firefox" don't be alarmed when you get a little screen that pop's up such as the one below ;



It is just telling you that the "Add-On" you wish to Add is available for download.

Once that screen pops-up click the "Install-Now" button.

Once you click it, another screen will pop up that looks similar to the one below ;



Just click the Add-On that is there one time, and if it is not on "Use" click it on. Once you have done that, make sure you click "Restart Firefox.

Once you have restarted your Firefox and it has came back on you will see a little icon next to the URL bar such as the one below ;



This means that you have Successfully downloaded "DownloadHelper Video" CONGRATULATION!

Now, lets go try out our new download shall we!

Go to Youtube.com and find a video of your choice that you want on your desktop. Once you find it, click watch and pull it up on screen.

Above the video you will see the same icon as you see next to your URL bar, that looks like the one below ;



Yea so what, I like techno music. Who doesn't!

Once the video has downloaded fully, you can click that little icon and it will automatically start it's download such as the one below ;



Once the video is complete if you can save it to your desktop and open it as a FLV video, or a Windows Media Player file. Have fun watching!

Meh, not as good as your other guides, this was simply a "go here and download this" sort of guide. Didn't really teach me anything, also if you are looking for a youtube video downloader, there are loads of free ones online instead of downloading a program to do it for you.

 

This was more of a "How to" for dummies. That's why there was no real potential learning like there was in my other guides, or it didn't really benefit from anything, it's just a nice thing to have.
