In Real Life Vouch -- Arcus Isidar

Today a member named Barth PM'ed me saying he had picked up a payment I had sent him. I had bought 500M from barth via WU yesterday. He then went on about how he knew arcus in real life (they go to high school together).. I had just known he was going to sell to arcus. I had done everything I could to get him to admit it.. He then went on about how he's going to sell to arcus, because it'd be alot easier and that they knew each other in real life. They apparently go to the same high school. I attempted to offer him a better price, but arcus swayed him into selling to him instead..

The rules state that it's against the rules to vouch for somebody you know in real life. Arcus was very knowingly aware of this.. He had posted about this to a reply about a month ago on the, "where did name here go", thread about NPNK. It's not like Arcus wasn't aware of this.. Numerous people have been banned for in real life vouches; NPNK included.

Arcus hasn't just broken one rule either.. He's been pardoned for ban evading twice, a few months after he created his current Sythe account. He waited til he figured he could get away with it before attempting to be pardoned.. I'm not sure when this occurred. He was also hacked a few months back.. Supposedly by an in real life friend. The password was the same thing to his sythe account as to other things, so his friend just hacked into his account. I don't think this was eve really proven, but just some pictures were shown of conversations and such.

I hope this isn't taken lightly, just because of arcus's position on Sythe. He has a better reason not to be treated differently, since he's so active on sythe and is well aware of the rules.

 

From the looks of it, they didn't know that they went to school together hence why he says "freaky shit".

Keep that in mind as well. He did acknowledge they happened to live in the same city.

Basically, the point of this rule is to keep people from having real life friends register simply to vouch for you. If you're conducting a trade with someone who happens to live in the same area, not a big deal.

I only see this as a personal attack by you, Punkerpunk, in order to get rid of competition. You're attempting to use some random rule get someone you dislike (see http://screensnapr.com/v/yzI3DB.png ) banned.

 

No. Only reason I said that about arcus is because I dislike him. I don't see how that matters really..

Ermmm, both say that they knows each other in real life.

See how there's a difference between their vouches and the one I made? He puts something that shows that they know each other in real life, which is what we ask for when a friend vouches you.

 

After a conversation with Punker I've found out he made this thread based on the title of a sticky Sin666 made in the vouch section "You are not allowed to vouch for yourself, or an irl acquaintance." with ignoring the inside of the thread "if you vouch for someone that you know in real life, you must acknowledge how you know them in your vouch". Both Arcus and the other party has acknowledge how they knew each other (the bolded parts in my post above, and thus the scam report holds no grounds for self vouching..
