giving away a lvl 138 all 99's guess the number STOP THESE THREADS

when im in the black market i am sick of sein these threads there a lame excuse for people to get there post count up and should be against the rules

 

i know i see them all the time, and not one time did any1 ever guess the so called "right number"

 

So? If it's spam, report it and let the mods get to it in due time.

Can Mods set rules to restrict making this type of threads?
It's annoying seeing how people gained postcount and did not give their so called 'giving away accounts' to the rightful person.

 

Vbulletin cannot merely keep certains things from being posted by means of filtering. I have a test forum I run and to my knowledge it isnt possible. Thats where users like us come in handy b/c if you click that red triangle (not just you , but many people) it throws flags at admins and at Staff wherever they deemed it to show up. Either in AdminCP or ModCP not sure. Its just something that has to be reinforced.

I feel you on it though, as its all just bullshit ways to increace PC. Imo, it deserves Temp Banning, as it is Scamming nonetheless

Just for your information it actually goes to a forum, which you can view yourself (report a spammer.) all reported posts are viewable by all members and mods will make decisions on them when they have the time.

As for this topic, I believe this is already reportable as spam. I've seen a few get locked for the stupidity of it all. So just report abuse button to it. If someone wants to do this they can feel free to PM an MM or an Admin the number and as soon as the number is called the MM or Admin will say so. Plain and simple.

I don't understand why so many people consider post count a veracious method for measuring trustability. Quality over quantity.

The point of this post is don't worry if people have a bit higher PC due to spamming. The spam shows up in their record, and they usually aren't respected for it.

 

Whenever I see them and then warn them by pm or infract it depends, and then delete the post and lock the thread. Usually I tell them to pull that shit in runescape section not in the black market.

Just kiddin I tell them to just give away the stupid account.

You forget that most people in the black market are 10-12 year olds, and don't look through a user's posts. When I was still an idiot in the black market, I saw Guru and I thought that Guru = trusted. Boy was I wrong. I assumed that everybody on Sythe played Runescape, and because they weren't banned yet, I also assumed that they were legitimate.

I'd say a 2 point infraction for these threads, and then a 3 day temp ban if they repeat it.
