    In-Depth Runescape 2007 Staking Guide!

    Staking on 2007scape
    [IMG]
Theres a main points of view you will need to know,
first off i will talk about odds, because that is the most important thing about staking

How to know when you have odds?

There are 3 main factors when it comes into staking, i will firstly cover the most popular
way of staking, Dds and whipping.
    Accuracy
    Hitpoints
    Max hits/Strength

Accuracy mainly will come into play during dds stakes, Accuracy is just the attack and
defence of your characters stats. Accuracy also comes into play with boxing, the higher
accuracy you have it gives you the better advantage since boxing max hits are every 10
    levels.

Hitpoints is a very key part in staking , hitpoints is so important because, all the stakes
you will do is based off of hitpoints, The higher Hitpoints you have the longer you will last
in the stake, Easy ways to gain Hitpoints levels without leveling your Attack, Strength
and Defence would be, Chinning your range or Bursting your mage, which are quite
expensive methods but they are quick and get you the levels you want.

Max hits are also a big part of staking, max hits are just the Highest hit you can hit at
your strength level. The chart below will show you max hits for your strength levels, all
these hits are based off of using Lunge/Lash/Slash, with your whip/dds/scimmy ( the
    aggressive attack style).

    Strength levels-------------------Max Hit----------------------Weapon

    96-99--------------------------25--------------------Abyssal tentacle
    92-95--------------------------24--------------------Abyssal tentacle
    87-91--------------------------23--------------------Abyssal tentacle
    83-85--------------------------22--------------------Abyssal tentacle
    79-82--------------------------21--------------------Abyssal tentacle
    75-78--------------------------20--------------------Abyssal tentacle
    70-74--------------------------19--------------------Abyssal tentacle
    66-69--------------------------18--------------------Abyssal tentacle

    Strength levels------------------Max Hit----------------------Weapon

    99------------------------------25----------------------Abyssal whip
    95-98--------------------------24----------------------Abyssal whip
    90-94--------------------------23----------------------Abyssal whip
    86-89--------------------------22----------------------Abyssal whip
    81-85--------------------------21----------------------Abyssal whip
    77-80--------------------------20----------------------Abyssal whip
    73-76--------------------------19----------------------Abyssal whip
    68-72--------------------------18----------------------Abyssal whip

    Strength levels------------------Max Hit----------------------Weapon

    97-99--------------------------20----------------------DDS Special Atk
    91-96--------------------------19----------------------DDS Special Atk
    85-90--------------------------18 ---------------------- DDS Special Atk
    79-84--------------------------17----------------------DDS Special Atk
    75-78--------------------------16 ----------------------DDS Special Atk
    69-74--------------------------15----------------------DDS Special Atk
    63-68--------------------------14 ----------------------DDS Special Atk
    59-62--------------------------13 ----------------------DDS Special Atk

    Strength levels-------------------Max Hit----------------------Weapon

    95-99---------------------------22----------------------Dragon Scimmy
    90-94---------------------------21----------------------Dragon Scimmy
    85-89---------------------------20----------------------Dragon Scimmy
    81-84---------------------------19----------------------Dragon Scimmy
    76-80---------------------------18----------------------Dragon Scimmy
    71-75---------------------------17----------------------Dragon Scimmy
    66-70---------------------------16----------------------Dragon Scimmy
    61-65---------------------------15----------------------Dragon Scimmy

    Strength levels------------------Max Hit-------------------Weapon

    94-99--------------------------11----------------------Kick
    84-93--------------------------10----------------------Kick
    74-83---------------------------9----------------------Kick
    64-73---------------------------8 ----------------------Kick
    54-63---------------------------7----------------------Kick
    44-53---------------------------6 ----------------------Kick
    34-43---------------------------5----------------------Kick
    24-34---------------------------4 ----------------------Kick

Since all these max hits are on aggressive attack style, and you want to find the
accurate max hit you will add +3 levels to the max hit level for that hit, for example
you want to use the accurate whip attack in a stake, and your strength level is 91,
The closest max hit for whip would be 23 at level 90 strength, so if you will use
accurate your max hit level for 23 would be 93 strength. That rule goes for every
weapon you will use on different styles. The only time when your max hit will not matter
is when your opponents hit points are lower than your max hit. For example, his hitpoints
are 16 and your max hit is 18, it wouldn't matter what style you would use because,
you cannot hit up to 18 on him, you are only able to hit 16.

    X-ing

X-ing is now a huge part of staking, what an x is, it is a times that either you or your
opponent will do because one of you have higher odds.

How to know when to X?

X's make you absurd amounts of money even when you lose, For example your
opponent has 3 Hitpoints and 2 Defence and 2 Strength and no Max hits,
And he puts up 1m, you will calculate 1,000,000 x ( The X you want) = The amount you put

    X-ing Table

    Hitpoints

For every Hitpoints level above 75 Hp make your opponent 1.05x
For every Hitpoints level above 60 Hp and under 75Hp make your opponent 1.1x

    Max hits

For every Max hit your opponent has on you Make him 1.075x over 79str
For every Max hit your opponent has on you Make him 1.1x 60-70str
For every Max hit your opponent has on you Make him 1.15x 55str and under

    Accuracy

X-ing for accuracy is quite complicated, since it doesnt matter so much in whipping
cases, Always try forcing a 1.1x for a few accuracy levels, if he has more than a few
    force a bigger X

    Overall

When Your opponent has alot of hp and Max hits on you, do not try and force a 2-3x
If he has ridiculous stats on you, it is best just to walk away.

You always want to try under-xing them, so you can have odds and not lose as much
    in the long run.

    Why x-ing makes you Money

If you are doing 10m stakes and you are making your opponent 1.2x, You will be
profitting 2m each stake if it goes win-lose, that means after 100 stakes if u win/lose you
will have made 200m, regardless of being cleaned.

    TIP!

As long as you are winning you always have the advantage of controlling the X,
the other staker will be in the mind set that he needs to keep going to make
what he lost back, so he will want to keep going until he makes his money back,
so either A. You can up the X if he has stats, or B. If you are x-ing you can lower it
or even get rid of the X overall.

If your opponent won't let you force the X upon him, and you have won a bit off of him
Say something like " Okay thanks for the Gold! " and decline. What will happen is

    A. He will get offended, and want to make it back to show you up, and take the X you
    want.

    B. He will keep trying to stay at the X you were doing.

    C. That won't matter to him, so he will let it go, and find someone else to stake.

This process can take from 1 - 30 minutes, but usually will benefit to your X

    Movement On Stakes

These type of Stakes take alot of skill and practice, around the arena are points where
you can step there and back to get you or your opponent first hits, Movement On stakes
are easy to scam, Explaining this over text would take alot of work to do and still
    wouldn't fully make sense.

I would completely avoid these types of stakes unless you know what you are doing!

    Pid/First Hit

Pid/First hit is randomly switch between the 2 people staking, if both stakers would
attack at the same time, First hit DOES matter, having first hit can win you a stake in
alot of cases, it is always important to make sure you click your opponent as the Timer
goes down, you always want to make sure your click registers, so entering a stake i
would click your opponent as fast as you can.

    Scamming

There are a few current popular scams,

X-Logging is one of the most popular, how to x-log is Exit out of the client you are using
and it will Force log you out of the stake, If you are in combat it will force log you out
in 60 seconds, if you are not in combat, it force logs you out instantly, but you have to not
be in combat for 15 seconds. When an X-log occurs, both you and your opponent will be
sent out of the Duel Arena with the amount of cash you started with, It pretty much makes
it as if you never went into the stake in the first place

Another Scam is for first hit,

If you lay a box trap down and wear an easter ring, your opponent will need to angle his
view in less than 3 seconds so he can click you correctly, this scam has been somewhat
patched, it makes it easier for your opponent to click on you although i do preform this
myself, and it works from time to time.

ALWAYS Make sure, the rules include

    No food,
    No drinks,
    No prayer,
    No Movement
    No Range
    No magic,

And make sure all the items you wear besides your weapon slot are ticked off.

    Ring Scam,

If a person comes up to you and says, let wear ring on i got a B Ring (i), what will happen
    is either

    A. He is going to wear a Ring Of Recoil and deplete your Hit points with it

    or

    B. He will actually use a Berserker ring (i),

In case B. you will want to get a bunch of rings of recoil to anti-scam him, the recoil
depletes your opponents HP which gives you the advantage to win, even though the
Berserker Ring (i) give you Max hits, it is not guarenteed you will hit that max hit, but
it is always guarenteed you will hit with recoil.

    Drinks Scam

This scam is pretty simple and tricks people from time to time,
For example a guy says here lets use a Super Set to make it more interesting.
he gives you a Super combat potion and says lets use drinks on,

His plan is most likely to Drink a Saradomin Brew which would give him 14HP
extra than his normal HP then drink a Super Restore Pot, Then Drink the Super
Combat Pot, To give theirself an extra 14 hp to pretty much win them the stake.

If you want to antiscam this, bring brews and restores yourself, as long as you
Do not brew mid-fight, you will be fine, brew-ing mid-fight will heal you, but will lower
your stats and slow your attack down.

    Thats about it!

Nice guide. I'd suggest a little bit of formatting and maybe wordsmith some things around so the writing flows a bit better. Just minor tweaks, overall this is very well done/

What is the point of making this guide? Why would you leak 'staking secrets'?
EDIT: Seems that you don't know dds max hits properly.
Also, since when can you brew in the middle of a fight with potions on? Food needs to be on to brew if you're in a duel.
Lastly, I don't understand how you come up with a 1.075x for a max hit when you're 79+ strength and you ask a 1.1x for 1 hp level?

Some of the max hits are off and you can't brew mid fight but nice effort.

its all about forcing X's , X-ing is all that matters in 2014, its pretty much like taking commission for staking

I'm pretty sure the max hit for a dds is every 6 lvls, and it going for 67 str - 14, to 73 str -16, then 79 str -17, 85 str -18, etc. Idk about whip/dscim tho.

This is a poorly written guide, it's clear the maker of it has little to no knowledge of staking. I suggest you do not take this guide seriously at all.
