Impossible logic puzzle

Einstein predicted that 2% of less of the world could solve this logic puzzle:

Givens:

1). There are five different colored houses.
2). In each house there is a person of a different nationality.
3). These five people have different favorite drinks, pets, and smoke different cigarettes.

Facts:

1). The English person lives in the red house.
2). The Swede's pet is a dog.
3). The Danish person drinks tea.
4). The Green house owner drinks coffee.
5). The green house is directly to the left of the white house.
6). the Person who smokes Pall Mall has birds as pets.
7). The person who lives in the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8). The man who lives in the center house drinks milk.
9). The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10). The person who smokes Blend lives next to the person that has cats.
11). The man who has horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
12). The person who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
13). The German smokes Prince.
14). The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
15). The man that smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water.



It's actually not impossible since I just solved it, but it IS hard.

The question is : Who has fishes as pets?

 

It says 2% of the world can only solve it however, both of my parents solved it in under 45 minutes (I literally timed them).

My dad did it in about 40 - 45 minutes, and my mom did it in about 35...

However, they both said it's not really difficult and it's actually pretty easy and that the 2% thing is also somewhat bullshit.

 

i started solving it but then i got uncouncious cuz it was too hard. lol o=

 

Rather easy. Start with the first house and its pretty simple. Also, Einstien was supposedly the creator of this, even though there is no proof of such and a few of these cigarette companies were not around at the time.

 

What if they live in a culdesac?

Maybe he was saying only 2% can complete it in 30 minutes or something like that. If you have enough time it's really not that hard to do.

 

Anything can be figured out if enough time is invested into it.

I can't be bothered to figure this out because I really don't care.

 

Your parent's must both be rather smart then. It is easy if you know how to do it, but if you don't it's hard to figure out.

It's an adaptation, might be say what brand of clothes, what they ate, or something similar

 

Given enough time, anyone can solve this.

Yes, that's true, the problem though is solving it in the least amount of time possible.

I must be missing something, because I didn't see anything about a fish. Now I feel stupid...

 

I believe this is just simple set theory ? Although, a more complex problem, it is not impossible.

 

Are the houses in a circle or in a line?

 

I lost interest after 2min's, maby thats why no one figures it out. Its not a puzzle you're really motivated to solve.
