[IMPORTANT] I Think I Might Have A Virus [ HELP ]

Symptoms:



CA Security Center keeps popping up saying I have a virus. I deleted the virus. When I try to close it, it keeps popping up.

My computer is going extremely slow. It usually goes slow but not this slow.

My internet has basically re downloaded itself because one of my tool-bars is retarded and keeps saying it needs to be re-downloaded and its in the way of things.

Some of my history is gone, e.g. It doesent remember any of my passwords.

Messenger (MSN) lags a heap, every time I get an instant message the conversation basically refreshes itself, e.g. flashes white then goes back.


Please help.

Run a total scan of your computer, at the slowest level. If nothing comes up, consider formatting your computer. That's all I can think of.
