Implement a League of Legends General Section

League of Legends is a fun game that I'm sure plenty of people on Sythe play, or have played. Having a subsection for it would bring a lot to the table, and maybe even eventually having an account section or market. I feel that with this would come a wider fanbase for Sythe.org and its community.

 

I'm sure this has been suggested before? Will edit this post if I find the thread.

But sorry, no support here. I myself don't think LoL is that popular around Sythers, ergo, it shouldn't be implemented.

Don't support. Not enough activity and would be really dead.

 

I disagree. I feel that if the section opened up people would try playing it, the community would grow just like any other community did. Remember how dead WoW section used to be? I do.

Pros:
1. Broader community and another game to add for marketing/promotional purposes.
2. More generated revenue through botting/hacking.
3. Community would build itself, people will try it out and really enjoy it.

Cons:
1. Inactivity of the forum - - Lots of forums are inactive, and this could bring a spark to the section.

 

Like every other suggestion similar to this, full support.

 

so you'll also have to make a section for Heroes of Newerth.

 

This has already been suggested, at least twice.

However I think this could be temporarily implemented simply to see how active it becomes.

For example a trial and run period, and if it fails then simply remove it.

 

As seen by my first post, this has been suggested 5 times. They have all been denied, minus one where it is still open.

 

I don't understand why some people are so actively opposed to this suggestion, it would have no negative effect on the forums or You. If you don't play LoL or don't support the suggestion, then simply do not go into that forum if it is implemented.

 

i would agree, but i also think the activity for the section would be dead.

 

Instead of just saying you support, how about you explain why?

 

So far the only viable negative is that people claim that it would be inactive. If that were the case, couldn't we just remove it if it was? It seems like a trial period for the section would be a nice way of knowing if it would benefit the site.

 

Just like every other suggestion including my own on the subject, I support.

Until a game takes over the other games section it has no chance of getting its own section.
