Immature or Just The Truth?

That screenshot shows the vast difference between threads/posts on both the Compliments and Rants section of the RuneScape forums.

Are these all just immature ranters who have played RuneScape since November 2009 and call themselves veterans, or are these genuine rants?

All-in-all, in can be said that RuneScape has gone downhill, but that pictures depicts the situation in such a way that I thought was unreal...

I can't see RuneScape lasting much longer at this rate.

 

How can you write a compliments thread if there's nothing to compliment Jagex for?

Always much easier to pick at someone else's mistakes.

 

I have been playing since 2005 and Jagex have only worsened the game over the past few years, FACT. Things like RWT have been taken out at the expense of all the other fucking amazing things like wildy and staking.

 

Hahaha nice find man really out in the open how people feel about JaGeX (like we didn't know already xD)

 

This really doens't show at all how Jagex ltd. is doing. Someone who has a problem will always address that problem. But when someone is pleased with the service they will keep coming back and will have no need to write up a thread when their thread is paying for membership. For all you know 100,000 of those rants are all for the same thing. ex: wilderness removal.

How can you claim runescape won't last much longer at this rate when even with everyone claiming runescape has gone downhill their is always over 90k people on at all times of day/week...

It is just the horrifying truth.

 

Trust me, there aren't always 90k people playing.. Maybe 90k people online, but not playing.
A quarter of the people on RS are most likely a bot at all times..
Don't believe me? Watch an update that disables bots such as rsbots, ibot, etc.
The numbers are still up there, but they are dramatically lower. Yet, when the bots are up within an hour; there are suddenly another 30k playing.
I myself am always botting at least one account unless an update has corrupted the bot.

On topic/
Rants are repeated, all the time. When wildy was removed.. There was probably hundreds, if not thousands of rants on that one topic. This happens everytime there is a major update people don't like.
I'd still have to agree RS has gone down hill, but I do not see it dying any time soon. Newer players are joining, and they never knew about the wildy, staking in large amounts, and so on. RS will not die at least not soon, unless something drastic happens.

 

What can you compliment Jagex for? Removing the wilderness? Messing up PC? Price limits? Grand Exchange? Help me out.


P.S. I know the wilderness is added again, but it's bounty worlds. Definitely not the same thing.

 

Runescape is definately gonna last much longer. Just casue there are more rants doesnt mean it isnt going to last hahah.

Ha just kidding but, Runescape has been messed up by Jagex, but no matter what there are people that can play through updates. They like the game, so Runescape won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

 

IMO RS has been messed up by Jagex a lot I am an off/on player since 2005 and I can safely say I used to enjoy the game more.

 

I personally thing that the game has gotten worse over the past few years.


Even if there were OLD bh back, I would be MUCH happier.

 

Rant forums is filled with spam, with the old system when you went in there. I saw one topic actually worth reading in a couple weeks.
