I can't seem to find an example, but for instance:

There are a few examples here, but I can't remember the names. One is of Albert Pujols, the other over a COD4 Sniper.

    Any help? Thanks.

I think you have to go through and add each frame of the .gif into your picture, im pretty sure thats the only way. Draucia is good with that stuff ask him.

Here is an example from a Sythe member (all credit is to Water Drips, just borrowing for an example).

^Yepp, get the .gif in Photoshop and go through every frame and add the background. That should work.

Alright. I guess what I was doing, the GIF was too big and it messed up the text (added random pixels around the outside).

What are you trying to do, exactly? You would save the whole thing as a gif, and make the "Background" the still image, and the gif in the middle. Oh and if you WANT a gif inside a still image frame or whatever, go to File -> Import -> Video Frame Into Layers. Then, when it opens the load thing, type:
    *.*
And it will show you all the files. Open it up, and click ok. Then go to Window -> Animation, and there you go.
But I didn't understand your question, haha. :p

I import the video to layers (creating the .GIF), but I want to surround the .GIF with stationary images. Similar to the Albert Pujols example here.

Upload, change the canvas size to the size you want, put the background on all your individual layers. Use PS's animation to make it go through, and save for web and devices.
